When compared to the real currency then arguably bitcoin safer. Maybe that's what makes people are also interested in investing in the crypto because both feel safer.
Unless you are well-known in technology, I do not think that bitcoin is very secure to ignorant users. if you want to secure your money with bitcoin, you need to know what to do with technology and the computer. Your computer will be harmed if you do not know how to use it correctly No one said that bitcoin is secure and safe to invest at, as we know that it is really risky and no one will prove that our money would be secure and that we cannot incur loss, when a matter of fact we can incur loss anytime depending on our capacity how much we are going to hold. I believe that the bitcoin is really secure becuase bitcoin still here and it is really getting more popular because of uts amazing features i think if we put basis about the popularity and its capability we can really say that this bitcoin is really secure because if it is not secure maybe bitcoin will not become popular and maybe no one will use ,invest and trade this kind of digital things.maybe people saw that bitcoin is really secure and trusted that is why it is now really getting more popular. |

Exactly no one can put any doubt on the security of bitcoin because bitcoin is really safe and secure currency, gradually bitcoin is experiencing very good and huge price which is making it safer and stronger with time, as if we look at the price of bitcoin new and new ups down comes but it is standing at is was bitcoin has become stronger now as there are a lot of wallets and the best ever technology is the blockchain, so for me bitcoin is safe and sound currency. |

As far as i know, bitcoin is secure but it is not safe hackers. If a hacker wants to hack your account or wallet, that hacker will do everything that he can to hack your account or wallet. But to prevent that to happen, make multiple accounts and wallets. Also, just keep your accounts private even to your family and friends. Do not tell your passwords to anyone. In that way, you can secure your bitcoin as well as your money. Well if we talk about security of an account or wallet there's a posibility but we can secure it in our own way. In other reason for hacking is just the one who has in titled in wallet will be the one also if they have an error. If that would happen we can't secure our safety for that. About security, it’s all up to you to keep it secure or not. Bitcoins are saved in your wallet in digital form that is controllable and you can transact any time. If you open your password in public places they may be able to reach into your wallet by typing that password and will hack your transactions and all the coins will be going to the hacker. Whatever you need to do id to keep your account secure is the security. |

no thing on the internet is really secure bitcoin or other things ; black hackers always renew their abilities to attack any system ; if we spoke of security on the net we spoke about percentage 90% 70% ! 100% doesn't exist.

I dont understand your point.Do you mean its security against external threats? Yes, it does have a outstanding security for hackers and threats but protecting your passwords is required.or Do you mean its safety or assurance investing in it? This is crucial because investing on something shouldnt be asked to random people this depends on you whether you put some effort and time in it.You are the only one that can answer that.

The bitcoins is pretty much secure for me because there are no people that van hacked the system so they cannot destroy bitcoins and thet do not even know who is the person behind the bitcoins thet just know the name but they donnot even know if that even exist. Yes there are some malfunctions and some issues but those are from the wallet creators that is none of the bitcoins business. So for me bitcoins is still super secured it is up to what wallet you use |

Yes bitcoin is really secure Because technology running behind it is blockchain technology, and algorithm which it is operating SHA 256 which is very very very difficult to hack. Let's have model of How blockchain works ---
For example -- I have my public key and private key with me. it means i can only have access of sign in / signup of an account. If somebody want to hack my bitcoin transactions than he/she needs to have 5/6 super computer with him, this won't be possible.
The security and privacy provided by bitcoin is totally unquestionable. People are attracted towards it just for the sake of privacy and freedom it provides to them, nothing else. This new technology got much popularity because it provides all authority to the investors and this is why governments are against it. They cannot control the wealth of people when it is in the form of crypto currencies. Bitcoin is hell safe. |

Bitcoin is not really secure beacause as we all know that bitcoin is decentralize that is why government has no protection for it unlike the other banks.However,you are the one who responsible in making your own bitcoin wallet so must thing to do is choose the right and better bitcoin wallet.
besides that government is still looking for ways to keep it under control, so until now it has not been legalized. but i am sure the government can not deny technological developments, and will find for solutions |

I think the security is in the hand of the users, we can not deny that the technology is controlling us, other bank experience and facing in hacking problems even though their are secured and legalized by government compare to Bitcoin that's not centralized and not legally to other country , we are the liable and responsible for our security.

I think people who know bitcoin but are afraid to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin is very risky but we need to take decisions and choose those risks to change lives with bitcoin. bitcoin will definitely keep growing well when it needs to be patient and it has been proven from year to year whose value is always increasing

I think security in bitcoin depends on us. How strength our passwords. And it is not safe in hackers. Even banks with high security can be hacked what more our wallet secured only by passwords. Just hoping i will not be a victim of the hackers coz i am just trying to earn extra income.

The security of your coins will be always depending on the wallet you are using to hold your coin because there are different coins out there and a lot of exchangers and markets that can hold your coin but still the security is a must because they have different level of security system on their site. |

I would guess bitcoin is more secure than credit cards which appear to have millions compromised on a regular basis without anyone batting an eyelash. Bitcoin would also appear to be more secure than banking, government and assorted financial systems, all of which have been critically compromised numerous times over the years.
Its strange that people question whether bitcoin is secure when the security of our banking, economic and financial institutions could have as many holes as a sponge. With only 2% of americans having used bitcoin or a crypto currency in polls, shouldn't we be focusing more on the security of electronic financial systems the other 98% of people use?
