Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

There are many ways to do once the market is falling but one tactics i like the most is by holding it for long term because once your sell your crypto investment while the market is falling may risk your money and possibly you can not invest it again once the price is increasing.

Everything depends on your strategy and portfolio. If you are trading you can sell even lower than you bought and then buy lower. For example, you buy 1 BTC for 20 k $ but the market goes down. To my candid opinion, i will like to say this; Holding is beneficial when the market is falling apart from what we use to obtain from it. At the point of market RED, the only tactics one can adopt is holding whatsoever coin in your possession than selling it out. When market is falling my favourite tactics is scalping. Ofcourse if your newbie better do research how to do this , theres a lot of videos in youtube that teach how the technique is being executed. I know scalping is the most basic in trading but dont under estimate this technique because once you mastered it you dont need to put money any more just scalp and trade.

One more i do when market is falling is always have a plan for cut loss,this is very important technique a lot of newbie does not have plan for cutting loss. Always have a systematic and concrete plan all the way when you are in crypto because its very risky and very volatile market.
