I made a years saving in my first two weeks investing end Dec start Jan. It was insane.

I've been down ever since even though I've pumped in loads more cash.

This is why I firmly believe timing is extremely important in this volatile cyclical market.

After watching 12k turn into $250k in half a year I am OK that it's worth $108k now and am not having to deal with taxes, and continue to buy the dips. On the next run, I'll be in a good position and will be able to watch my $108k go to 2.5MM while all my friends bought high and sold low and then fomo back in at $50k btc

I made about 30% of that off $500 bucks. I cashed most of it out already and pay the taxes period paid off my debt with it and had extra money to sell my truck and buy a new one in full. Next step is hoping it goes up enough so I can buy a house in full and never have to worry about a damn thing

I remember that day it was in March and I had a bonus of over $3,000 and I was like maybe a few minutes away from just dumping another thousand into Neo like my client told me to and Neo is at $0.20 haha.

Instead I put that money towards my wedding which I really didn't need all that towards my wedding. But I did make a responsible decision to put it towards something important instead of taking a risk.

But that's the nature of the game no risk no reward

When it falls, many people will ask you to buy or hold, but you should look for the reason why the price is down, if the price is right if you get a normal adjustment and then hold or buy, but if you find something suspicious, like a hard coin developer who wants to cheat or a coin has a weakness, Then you should sell. Investing in coins requires patience and requires a strong mind.

The best time to buy stock is when markets are declining. Yet many investors simply don't have the emotional wherewithal to do so. selling puts is one way to alleviate the problem.

my tactic when the market falls is not to make new investments, and to monitor their long-term investments to have time to respond to the fall or rise in prices.

The best tactic in these moments is to keep your head cold (do not panic). This is the most important rule, making decisions and thinking with a cold head. Now it is better to wait for growth and not to sell. It is worth a little bit to buy

Alternative strategies should also be considered. One such promising strategy is cryptocurrency arbitrage. You just need to figure it out, get trained and act.
And make a profit)

The best strategy is to hold and to wait and nerver panic. Bearish time is normal. If you have more capital to invest this is the good time.

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
My personal strategy for not getting weak and selling too early is getting busy as much as I can with other stuff like claiming airdrops or optimizing due dilligence, reading whitepapers, researching for ico prices of interesting projects etc.

The strategy you use should be based on your skill level and your risk tolerance.
If you do not want to risk losing all digital currencies, then holding may be the best.
If you don't mind spending time on the fiat (perhaps forever), then you can sell at highs and try to buy low again.
If you often fly at high altitudes and have rich trading experience, short-term sell-offs may be for you.
Use any strategy you feel best suited to always know your investment goals. Wink

Holding or trading always need you to make the right decisions in the right time.
So i suggest you to have an expert with you at all the time you make the big decision.
They will be the one that help you to fix it if it's wrong .

Just need to keep patience and a cold head. And everything will return to normal.

The most important thing is not to panic and wait when the price goes up to the previous minimum and from it buy a coin and if it does lower, reinvest like the same  Grin

When the market falls, I go to the store and buy good beer. But when the market finally fell it is necessary to remove the beer on the side and think what a cryptocurrency should buy at the best price. Here there are difficulties. I think you all know that the market of crypto-currencies work with the same rules as in real life. Buy cheap - sell expensive.

You bought some thinking it's the dip but it keeps falling? Keep buying more. Get more of them until their ATH and sell. If you missed the ATH follow the news, if they are making improvements, hold on a bit. If there's silence, i'm sorry.

The main thing is to remain calm and look for in this the opportunity to earn money and not be disappointed, so reinvest and wait for the price increase.

as long as you put the money you dont need, best tactics you can do is HODL

there is very big dips and spikes here in the market so it is not easy to trade

and i always prefer to stay hold, but maybe some good traders can give some tricks to you

One thing I usually do is to change to usdt which is somehow stable no matter the fall in market prices. Moreover, usdt recovers within a short period of time unlike other coins/tokens which may take years to recover.
