My tactics when the market is falling is just simple, I keep myself calm and I do not panic that my investments will go dump, I keep my patience and just do some research on the crypto and what is happening and what will going to happen.

I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

Personally i will take the advise from the some who are now on crypto forany years and that is to patiently hold on my coins for a while and do some research and study to gain additional knowledge and techniques.  For me everyday is always a leraning in cryptocurrency whole.

That's good . being calm is the most wanted thing in crypto . you can sell if you think you are at the peak but HODLing is good at most of time.

Not sure about others but I think I will be going to uninstall portfolio app from mobile and stop looking at the market multiple times a day. It's easier said than done though.
