Stellite now has a home at Stellite.HashVault.pro

We are a well-known mining pool operation for cryptonight coins, our Stellite mining pool (https://stellite.hashvault.pro) has a nice amount of hashrate

HashVault gives our miners a safe, friendly and professional service.

We also have cookies, awesome cookies

I was mining in communitypool and I had no problems at all.
This is the best pool for those who want to give 30-40% their coins to the pool administration. And please don't tell me about difficulty or luck, or any other reason. Just go to https://cryptoknight.cc/stellite/ and get 30-40% more XTL with the same hashrate. I did that. And i don't need more evidance.
I actually just did that, and I'm not seeing any difference so far. Been mining at the community pool for weeks and switched to cryptoknight.cc yesterday. For now the 24 hour payout is pretty much identical. I'll keep mining at cryptoknight pool for a while and see whether it pays more in the following days, but the earnings are very similar so far.
Could you keep us posted on your observation? 30-40% of coins to administration pool is a total ripoff and. I'm willing to part with 10%, but at 30/40 that's just a crime!

I can't get the damn GUI wallet to work. Tried several versions and with the newer versions the deamon won't start. Excluded it from anti-virus and windows defender but it simply does not want to connect.

Old versions do connect but when i want to switch wallets by seed it crashes. Also old wallet does not seem to allow the option to simply add more receiving addresses....

Welcome to the club. I've been having problem getting the GUI to function in anyway these past few. Right now, I'm resigned to waiting for the web wallet instead - or mobile. Syncing with the blockchain's been a nightmare

Feature is in the roadmap. Can't wait for the implementation though. XTL will literally explode on the scene. Development is primed for it though

Are you try to use the lite wallet?

In Stellite GUI folder look for file "start-low-graphics-mode.bat" e then execute with administrator privileges.

Its Works for me, i have the same problem with the 0.0.8 version.

...and many other posts.

I don't need it. I saw it by myself. And for me it's more than a bad reputation.

I stayed away for a while after the response I got for bitching about it...now im drunk enough to come back and look...and im glad to see some who agree.......as I said before, I cant call it a "scam", but there is something wrong with it...the problem may come and go...but, in my eyes something is wrong...and that's enough for me....im back at cryptoknight.cc and im mining much more...I believe strongly in xtl, and in the devs' devotion and ability....I think this thing can  go a long way if they stick with it....but I just cant put my efforts into an inferior pool...sorry

Mine is more or less like the blockchain raw file got corrupted during download. Keep giving me a "WARN    blockchain.db.lmdb   src/blockchain_db/lmdb/db_lmdb.cpp:72   Failed to open lmdb environment: Input/output error"

Delete your old database, download the lastest wallet and do all again.

Should we modify our PoW algorithm to retain NiceHash resistance?

I voted yes. We do not need all the extra network power right now, until we do, the coin should be accumulated in a more decentralized fashion. We do not want a handful of people mining majority of the coins. That will help no one, but the said few.

I've been using the Claymore Cryptonight miner for Stellar (it's been free to use for some time now) but I spotted stellitequestion's xmr-stak miner with the following variants.
When I check them all with Avast anti-virus scanner the 1% & 2% scan clean but the 0% reports a virus as "Win64:Malware.gen", is this a false positive ?

Fixed my wallet issue.
The problem is windows automatically removes stellited.exe after extracting so the deamon does not start.
You have to manually ad the wallet folder to me excluded from virus scanning, then place the stellited.exe back from the zip file.

TBH all cryptonight coins have turned into hot turd lately for mining. CPU/GPU mineable + botnets makes them turn into turd after they go mainstream. ETN will be just like XMR in a few months, super low mining profitability since so much of the hashing power comes from Malware botnets taking a huge part of the reward from honest miners.
