now I've started to leave the gambling because some of the factors from start have lost a lot of money until the same ostracized by the surrounding community for playing gambling so I can stop long enough without gambling because I'm used to it.
Losing money is something that is guaranteed in gambling, so if you do not have that as your first mindset before even gambling, then you really got in with the wrong mindset and you should even be quitting immediately.

I know a lot of people have this mentality of wanting to make money from gambling and this is the reason why some have set up an office for themselves to gamble either online or offline, and that is crazy. I see that as joblessness or stupidity, it should be an occasional thing and not a do or die affair.

I can control the desire to gamble and even though for example when I have money but I have no mood to gamble then I won't gamble at that time. Moreover, I do gamble only with small part of my money and if I lost it, I will stop instead of chasing it with my other money.
That's a good control of yourself and not everyone can do it. Once they lost or win they can't keep theirself away from gambling. Eventhough after withdrawal, they will say, okay i'm going to rest in gambling but the fact is they cant so they will make a depo in a few hours or days again and again.

Everyone could control themselves in gambling, the only case here is that they don't to, they are pushing themselves into the edge until they ran out of money. Addicted players on gambling are the most people who doesn't like the term "control", they just want to go all out in gambling, they are like insane people who are selfish and doesn't think of their love ones, they just care about gambling.

I'm afraid to say that they can't stay out of gambling for even just a day, it is their life, without gambling they are just an empty people.

Life is about freedom and satisfaction and gambling is a choice. A person is free to gamble because by gambling they have a satisfaction that cannot be owned by someone else. Like you have a hobby, even though other people do not like your hobby I am sure you will easily heed it. This is what a gambler feels, though many people who hate it easily will heed it, about the impact that will be generated, the people will always have other ways to stop it.

And that is what gambling should be all about.
If you cannot see the fun in gambling and the fact that it is just a game you are paying for and only if you get lucky you can win something back even after having that fun, then it is not even ideal for such a person to imagine going into the gambling world as that is the way you can easily control yourself.

I gamble once in few months just when I miss the environment and I only go around with what I can afford to lose which I see it as something I pay for the fun just in the case of going to the movies, Disney or whatever to have fun as the case may be.

Some just always turn it to something else until it finally turns them to something else.

I also have the courage to control that. In the start when I start the gambling I was on there daily for some time but after that I thought that it is also taking the time of my work and if I continued like that then I will not be able to do my work well. Then I did not given much time to gambling and when there are more time then I do not go to any casino but focus on my work.

As long as you were able to control yourself in gambling, you will be fine or the risk will be lower.
Gambling is a big distraction in your job if you are not doing it responsibly, worst case is that it could be a reason that you might lose your job.

Now I can stay without gambling as long as I want. I have a job now which can help me to forget gambling and fortunately, most of my friends aren't gamblers.

When you had no job it should have been even easier to stay away from gambling. You had no income so you had no money to waste which made gambling extremely risky. You weren't playing for fun like most people do but for the next month's rent or fuel for the car. That's rough.
Unfortunately some times, most of the people who gamble their money the most are sometimes the low income earners or those who do not have much and are expecting luck to bail them out of their predicament only to set themselves up for an even more shitty one.

I am not an addicted gambler and I only do it for the fun with some little amount of money that I just feel like wasting which if I end up winning, I just count it as my luck, so with that, I only gamble maybe like once in 2 or 3 months.

Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

How about you and how long you can control yourself for not playing these games?
In my own point of view, i can control myself from playing gambling even for a long time by finding things to do like playing basketball or going to the gym rather than thinking to gamble. It is great to know how would you to control yourself because if not you are experiencing extreme addiction in gambling.
Gambling is not even something one should be involved in everyday when one is not addicted, as it should be an occasional thing. I can stay from gambling for as long as I can, unless there is just this appeal once in a while to hit a casino and just experience a little fun or change environment once in a while, and this can even take some months for me based on my busy schedules or how I am involved in some other activities asides gambling.

before gambling we should first be able to read our own thoughts. if not, then it would be useless if we had money but at that time we do not have the mood to gamble, then chances are if we keep on gambling our concentration will not be controlled. I agree with you, the best decision is to stop not to continue at that moment

Recently i just played for almost 12 hours in gambling the only break time is when you eat nd when you need to pee there are lot of experience when you're going to sacrifice about your heath into gambling make sure that you need ro risk everything just to make your money doubled and you afford to lose im a bit confuse when someone is trying to bluff me, i really love it because you'll see it clearly and the time when you win the game with a big pot.

I can say that i can live without gambling. Gambling for me is plainly just for fun not like those who are addicted to it because their intentions to play is earn from it, because of greediness which is actually not the concept why gambling was created. Even at home we used to play card games with my friends but then i realized that it is just a waste of time.
And that is what gambling really should be like, for fun and nothing else. I once mentioned this part of fun on a thread in this forum, and some newbies attacked me like, what is the fun in losing. The thing is anyone that does not see losing as a major part of gambling, then, such a person is not really ready to gamble and should not even be gambling.

The attention some people put on gambling just in the name of winning a huge amount of money, if channeled somewhere else, they would have been way richer by now.

I was addicted to gambling for some long time but after some big shocks and have serious troubles around me now surely I can say I can live without this because its never been good experience for me this give me biggest setbacks and many failures hopefully this is end chapter for me in next all way

Well we always stick to what we enjoy even if it's not productive until it burns us. Good for you that you manage to turn around after getting shocked. Some addicted gamblers are so deep in their addiction that they can't do it by themselves.
Yeah, really good for him and most times, this actually burns based on the mentality we must have drawn to something. It is hard to come out of addiction though and I really would have been willing to know how he did. Anyway, how long one stays out from gambling is not the case but how one actually perceives gambling during this period is what matters. Although for someone who obviously cannot live without it, that is more like being an addict which is bad.

Whosoever has made this mistake, he has to suffer it so badly. This gambling makes you an addict and you start distracting yourself from every other thing that ever happens to you. Like your job and your family and your friends and everyone. You start leaving them and getting attached to it most of the time. And time comes when everyone start leaving you as well.

I also have the same thinking about gambling. People do win money in gambling but that money is borrowed and they have to return it from where they have one maybe at the same day or maybe the day after that day but that money will not remain with him till his end of gambling. He will return them in the way that when the next day he will come for gambling, he will lose them just like he has returned back the money.

Like old saying, the more you do some things, the more you get engrossed in them and before you know it, you may end up totally lost.

This is applicable to gambling a lot and it is always necessary to always try as much as possible to be in control right from the start as you would not want to end up seeing yourself finding it hard to stay away from gambling as in that case, that is an act that is tending more to addiction which one should always try as much as possible to avoid.

It depends on the amount of personal control and patience a person possesses. At times I feel some deep urge to gamble while at times I just want to stay off it (mostly when I have lost at all).
Gambling for me is just as addictive as watching sports. I just cannot see a match being telecasted and not bet on it. So for me, at maximum I can stay a week without doing gambling but then I feel suffocated and I invest double the amount than I ideally should and hence I am at risk of losing more.

Like smoking, once you quit it, it never leaves you out alone. That feeling always attached to you and whenever you get chance and your evil become stronger than your virtue, this would be happening and you are there for smoking again. It needs a constant practice of hate and getting away from it as far as you can go. Only then you could be able to resist those strong feelings.

Gambling isn't essential for our life and in fact we can live without it so if someone really desire to stay away or quit for good then it's not far to happen. And saying we can't live without it is actually a stupid idea because if someone like to change he can do it in every possible way and if we set our mind in appropriate thinking then you'll be surprise for the next thing.

So far, I'm thankful that I can still control myself when playing, when it's enough then I'll call it a day then.

Yes, i do agree there are many other ways to entertain us but it will allow us to spent some time with the family. But people who are addictive to gambling will not spent their time with the family members and they are happy through gambling.
