how long you can stay without gambling?

I have stayed away from direct gambling for more than 5 years now and I am not addicted to gambling.  However,  I do trade cryptocurrencies and it is as risky as gambling because the price directions is something too hard to predict.

They are both risky, but I think gambling is riskier than trading since when you gamble, you have to beat the house in order to win, which is impossible if you aim for a consistent win or long term winning. On the other hand, trading is also a game of prediction, but along the way you can improve as you learn from every mistake you will make. Personally, if I have to choose, I would choose trading over gambling, but I can do both by treating gambling as a fun activity.

The risk might be the same but the activity of gambling and trading are too different things. Well, its great that you were able to overcome your addiction and its been 5 years or more. Sure it's one of the greatest achievement that you ever had.

It is based on our interest if we are new to this camping we don't have much connection about this so at that time it will be simple without gambling it's possible but if we are so much addicted then doing gambling is the only thing that everyone do in their life so at that time it will be very difficult.

As per my experience this year, it's really really hard for me to control my emotions and not to gamble. There are days that I don't want to play, but damn when that itch started to return, then I just gamble again. But this time, I just play enough money that I can just afford to lose, unlike in my early years wherein all-in, as if there is no tomorrow.

Depends, maybe 1-2 days maximum, but if i don't have money left, i'm sure i can stay without gambling up to 1 week. If i have some money, i can gambling everyday. I'm kinda addicted to gambling so it's a bit hard to not gambling when i had money in my pocket.

You are on that part of your life that you can't leave gambling. Be careful of yourself when you have money because it can make you be like that person to lose until you have money holding on your hand.

1-2 days of maximum without gambling means it's hard for you to overcome addiction.

Me, I cannot really tell, but as long as I'm infront of my computer, I can gamble because I love it.
Maybe if I'll go out of town and no internet then I would not gamble, but honestly, I still have a control since I'm more matured now and have learned from my past mistakes. I'm done in chasing my luck in gambling as the reality always happens, I still long over time.

I learned as well from my mistakes and definitely if there's no internet connection on the place you go, there's no way for you to gamble online. Unless, you find some locals who have been gambling with cards physically or play poker, you may have a seat with them.

Most gamblers here learned from the mistakes but we still manage to gamble and can stay with or without gambling.

Things that we initially consider ordinary and impossible to make us addicts can ultimately make us fall prey. From my friends, I began to recognize gambling which eventually made me addicted. Luckily I did not fall deeper and immediately realized my mistake. Now, even though I am still gambling, I do it not as often as I used to and with the small amount that won't ruin anything if I lose it all.

I think there is no requirement to have a luck such as carless play, poor decision, or whatsoever. It will come unexpectedly and no one can ever manipulate it. I don't believe that we should gamble for entertainment only cause if it were so, we should've just play online games wherein there is no money involved.

I admire your control in gambling, not everyone can make that.
Personally I gamble most of the time because I have the freedom to gamble, everyday there's a lot of exciting games, with sports, dice, roulette and etc.
There's plenty of games you can play if you have a lot of time, though I play most of the time but I can still control, sad part is I loss more money.

There's plenty of games you can play if you have a lot of time, though I play most of the time but I can still control, sad part is I loss more money.

For those people who are playing gambling regularly, it is very hard for them to quit it.  There is so much attraction in gambling that it is almost impossible to ignore and keep away from it. 

I only quit gambling, when I have no or less money in my pocket, else I am unable to quit myself from gambling.

Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

As i have never gambled and have no idea of casino games, so it is not an issue for me. I can spend the rest of my life without gambling, but i know those who are used to gambling can't control themselves and find it very difficult to stay away from gambling even a single day.
