I was gambling a lot till recently and people who know me even were afraid I became a gambling addict. I was playing poker from two to eight hours per day, every day almost and I loved it. I was never losing something I can't afford to lose though, $10-$15 per month max. So it wasn't a money issue, more like a time issue. I was spending a lot of my time on gambling and that was actually not so good. Then, in the beginning of November 2017, I began to work on an interesting project and there were no time for gambling at all. So for me it's been almost three months without gambling. Never thought it can be so easy.

Those people already addicted in casino or in other form of gambling they wont stop until they have capital. We cant force them to stop because gambling is the way of their happiness but they do not know the big effect in their life if they continue to gamble.

Luckily i am not fun of gambling games thet is why i can control my self for being addicted, i do sports betting but i have limitation. And that is my recommendation for the other users always have a limitation win or lose stop at your limit.

Well said, i can stay without gambling games, i dont treat gambling as a hobby it is only my past time. I think also addiction will depend on how you treat one thing specially in gambling, addicted person make gambling games as their hobby and they do not set a limitation thats why they eat by the system of gambling easily.

I think they do know that the effects are not good when they gamble too much. Its just that they choose not to consider those negative effects because they're enjoying too much. That's usually a normal reaction by people with their hobbies, especially if their hobbies make money.

Well, money is the limiting factor here and only less money makes me to stop gambling. If Money was not the problem if would have continued to gamble for as long as I am not tired.
Gambling gives refreshment and excitement, so who would not want to continue for ever if he has recourses ?

I can live or continue my life with out gambling so i can stay without it. Yes,i do play but it's only for fun and i don't want to be addicted to it because i learned from others mistake and i see how people suffer the consequences when they are been addicted in gambling.

It is good to hear that you are not a gambling addict. It really hurts me when I see people suffering after losing money and time here. As far as a person is playing for the sake of fun and that is also a limited one, it is pretty fine to enjoy the life this way also. This is a big truth that to control the gambling work is not a easy job because it is a addiction more than the drugs .
If we will have balance of btc at the gambling site then we will go there to make gambling again and again , so it is not easy for us to leave it completely .
But still here we can control ourself like to make gambling in limited amount , for example in the past i made gambling about 3-4 weeks and results into loss by 0.1btc that was very big factor for me to loss , but after that I made rule that I will stop gambling daily with the earning of first win and after that I will stop for better .

That's definitely why you cannot quit so easily because if you are addicted, then it would be hard not to do it because it has become part of your daily routine and probably every time that you have money, you put it into gambling. You should not do that in my opinion because you could continue to lose everything that you have worked on concerns about money.

Gambling is just for fun purpose. My first time gambling experience when I play on primedice and try to deposit real money. When I hit 0.1 profit, I decide to stop gamble ! Although my greed always tell me to gamble again and again, finally I can control my own greed

Gambling is not really a "need" or the thing that we should do. Playing gambling is not that bad if you know your limitations and you know what will happen if you risk too much money on it. After losing a huge amount of money, it should be better if you are going to stay out of it forever, because if you'll keep on coming back, you might lose what you could have in the future.

Self control is a basic requirement  for any potential gambler and so if you lack that before you start gambling then you are going to problems dealing with when to start and when to stop playing. I can stay away from gambling for as long as i can because i  have  a limited bankroll and a laid out plan with which i approach my games and the times i even go for them. Sports betting is quite different from hard core gambling but when carefully compared you would realize they are just the same and you can apply these principles of self control in every other game out there,.

It's not about how long, its all about how can you live life without gambling. Other people make a living out of gambling so they can't relate on this one.  I have been gambling since I was in high school. I only stop if I don't have money then go back once I have some. It keeps on repeating until I ended up being broke. I don't want this to happen again so  I just focus on my study. I still gamble every time my friends play cards but that's about it.
