i think ethereum is better than neo. There are a lot of tokens that use the ethereum infrastructure. For neo this is very minimal. so ethereum is  better than ethereum.

The best thing for me is Ethereum. He has a huge support, great prospects and cryptocurrency market, which is based on it for a long time and has great success. Of course NEO is also good, but its rise is expected in the future, but here the political forces of China can intervene.  And it is necessary to do the decentralization of coins.

Which do you think is better and why?

Of course ETH. ETH has already captured the market and has every opportunity to continue developing. Any competitor, even a very good one, should come up with some super-tough things in order to take a part of the market to himself.

Etherium is good though but if you say that etherium has opportunity to continue develope and Neo also have. So what is the different?
So both altcoin are very good. The other thread also compare between eth and waves and i choose both and now i choose both too. They are all very profitable altcoin.

We all know that the second to the highest in the world of cryptocurrency andntl the rankings is the ETH even though it is an altcoin still it has a capacity to grow more and more. Thats why people are also buying altcoins it is because of that. And NEO is also a good alt but the capacity of ETH is more potential to increase and to be like the btc.

Hi, in fact, the biggest difference between NEO and Ethereum is NEO’s focus on a smart economy. A smart economy will feature digitized physical assets. All of these newly digitized assets will have proof of ownership in the blockchain. These assets can be sold, traded, and leveraged through smart contracts. Their ownership can be protected and validated through the decentralized model of the blockchain.

Which do you think is better and why?

For me the it's better with ETH , or ethereum a lot of predictors said that it would hit some bigger price so why don't invest now? , NEO is or have a good future too , also the ethereum but ETH as you can see have a successful project. And I know that it's worth it , to be honest I'm investing to ETH , so still waiting and I know for sure it worth waiting.

I agree with you now that ETH is much better than NEO because the level of development of these projects is different. But NEO has very great potential and support from Asia. I think that this year NEO will pleasantly surprise us both at the cost and new opportunities.

Overview of Ethereum and Neo
While both NEO and Ethereum have generalized blockchains that provide a toolbox for would be developers, their objectives differ. I would summarize each platform’s objectives as such:
Ethereum’s goal is to create a platform for the development of DApps in order to create a “more globally accessible, more free, and more trustworthy Internet:” an internet 3.0.
NEO is a blockchain project “that utilizes blockchain technology and digital identity to digitize assets, to automate the management of digital assets using smart contracts, and to realize a “smart economy” with a distributed network.”
That’s a mouthful. Let’s breakdown these objectives to fully understand the projects. It’s important to understand that both platforms share many of the same capabilities, but the distinction in their branded objectives is very important.
Ethereum: Ethereum’s goal is to be the platform for DApps and they are largely accomplishing this. They own the DApp market right now. Their roadmap is all about giving users and developers more control and more options in developing their applications.
NEO: NEO is working towards developing a product for the future. It not only rebranded from Antshares to NEO in June of 2017, but they refocused their marketing as well — with enormous success. Neo’s objective, while ultimately utilizing many of the same technologies as Ethereum, is to be the platform for a new smart economy.

Both platforms have proven themselves in the market, and they are quite successful if you think about it.
 but I chose etherium, simply because it has more support than the other one.
But don't be discouraged to use NEO, it basically is on same category.

Based on performance, I believe I'll chose Etherium, since it constantly outperforms NEO in several occassions. In addition, ETH also has more support in comparison to NEO, as evident inmany ICO projects which uses ETH, therefore relatively more stable.

I think both have massive potential ideally you should own both because ETH has a huge lead in the network effects, but NEO is at a much lower valuation so the potential upside is much greater. There really is room for multiple of these platforms.

Which do you think is better and why?

For me is ETH or ethereum , I prefer this coin because I'm fan of ethereum and also have a better price or future , not saying that NEO is bad or no. But as you can se ethereum has been promote a lot and many project that been successful. I'm not discouraging you to not buy NEO , the two coins have a good platform , and however look at their category and a lot of people I think or should I say some of people will choose eth.

Wow  this actually a tough one. Honestly I love both coins, but I think I love Neo more. Because I don't have to pay gas fee to send Neo or any Neo based token from one wallet to another. And besides you get rewarded with Neo gas for staking Neo, that's so cool. So Neo rocks

Which do you think is better and why?

I prefer ETH over Neo as it is better in terms of ranking. ETH is in second position in crypto currencies in the world, supported by  the Enterprices Ethereum alliance and not bound to any specific country. While neo’s block chain platform are in China.

Also, ETH has more power of giving high returns due to its stability as well presence for the long time.

Eth is the 2nd biggest cryptocurrency nowadays, eth is getting a lot of projects involving with their tokens and their erc20 token system and getting more volumes and liquidity every day. Eth is older and well known than neo! So, i will go for Ethereum

I will probably also stop at Ethereum but only incase when I will have to make a choice. As soon as now I can buy both cryptos, I will deal with Ethereum and NEO. Each of these projects is very cool.

Cardano

This. NEO will bring better tech than ETH imho, but it will be too little too late. There are already two serious competitors that are looking to overtake everyone - Cardano and EOS. Cardano has an incredibly professional academic community backing it, and a lot of serious research behind it. EOS has a billion dollar in funding to create something revolutionary. Both NEO and ETH will be left in the dust.

Ethereum is huge, vitalik is sıuch a clever guy and knows how to manage the project. ethereum is the strongest altcoin right now. Neo is just started there are still not so many project that are using neo blockchain but it has a good potential fer mid ter. I wouldnt choose one of them but invest iin both.

ETH is better with it compability, but NEO is faster and a lot of new coins creates on NEO now.
