To secure your bitcoin put it in a secured wallet so that hackers dont get access easily to your bitcoin
Yes there are allot of wallets available in market for bitcoin, you can keep your bitcoin safer as long as you want to keep it and nobody will be able to take your bitcoin even if you are not online, bitcoin wallet gives you private key which is not good to share with other people as much you will keep your private key safe they more you will earn from it, for me most safe wallet is now a day is one and only blockchain so you must try it once.

In real life, you do not carry all your money in your pocket every day. As with real money, you must distribute your Bitcoin funds and keep the necessary amount that covers your daily expenses in your mobile or online wallet. Distribution of your funds among several depositories, reduces to zero the possibility of the theft of all your funds for one time.

How to Secure Bitcoins?

Invest in a good wallet. Good wallets that actually take security as a top priority. You might want to invest in offline wallets or paper wallets. These wallets are really great because they don't really need to connect to the internet that much. Always make sure when you connect to the internet it is secure.

The main thing you should do to secure your wallet is to back up your private key. When you create a Bitcoin account, you will automatically have both a public key and a private key. The public key is a series of letters and numbers that you can imagine as a bank account. and use the 2FA feature, to make it more secure.
There are a lot of viable and effective ways of storing and securing your precious bitcoin investments at the same time. These are the so-called cryptocurrency wallrts that are effectively suitable for storing and securing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in a single keeping. This adds another thick layer of security to prevent hacks and thefts which are still happening due to the negligence of some investors of their bitcoins.

Securing our bitcoin is in our hand only, no matter how we choose the most secured wallet if we are not aware on some fishing site that will pum up in our computer while we open our wallet it's useless anymore. So i think we need only to be aware and think before we click some unfamiliar site that we can see.

For long-term storage, use https://bitaddress.org to generate a paper wallet encrypted with BIP38. Write down the passphrase in a secure location. Keep the paper wallet in your safe deposit box.

For a phone wallet, I use Electrum. Easy to back up. You can keep the same wallet on your computer if you want. The Android version is kind of rough around the edges, though.

I've never used a hardware wallet, so I can't comment on them. But I hear they're good.

Do not save your password to your computer or cellphone to make sure your bitcoin should be double taken care of so you will not regret it later. Your passwords on wallets should not be saved for your account not being able to get back into your money and may even get your money on your wallet or your bitcoins.

Cryptocurrencies can feel secure, because they decentralize and often anonymize digital transactions. They also validate everything on public, tamper-resistant blockchains.  The practice of using cold storage is not only popular with individuals but even with cryptocurrency exchanges that deal with huge sums and are often under constant threat by hackers. Because Bitcoin is on the internet, they are even easier to steal and much harder to return and trace. Bitcoin itself is secure, but bitcoins are only as secure as the wallet storing them. It is still depend on you if you want to just keep it yourself or tell it also with your partners. But my parents knew about it since i don’t want my investment to just turn to waste if something bad will happen to me.

You can buy hard wallet trezor such. Online wallet can also be completely locked with security like authenticate, secret answer and Good email that is good for security. Unless you are well aware of how secure your account is.

i think bitcoin are very secure to saving your value, but you can buy/using some hardware wallet that can make you more saver without connection integration, so not easy to hack or stolen from people,

How to secure Bitcoin, as follows:
1. As a Developer get used to listen to feedback from users to minimize the possibility of Code Error (Faulty Code) as happened in DAO Attack.
2. Staying relaxed and cool when getting information from emails or other messages that require you to do something, emotion and hurry that is being used by the hackers.
3. In storing the cryptocurrency assets you always take note and note: 1. Where and how do you keep private keys? How to preventive measures if your place to store lost / damaged? Have some digital backups and wallets in the form of hardware or printed wallet.
