Everyone exactly hope better in this year although the value of bitcoin right know is down. But 2018 it's not over still have time to recover or can be higher than last year of 2017. People cannot predict bitcoin whether will better than last year but people are very hoping.

Though the start of Jan 2018 was good the market kept moving up but during the later half the market started to sin and back to 10k levels at present.

2017 was the golden year for bitcoin it is where its popularity become noticeable to different level of people and lot of investors flocking at the end of 4th quarter which i guess loss big amount since current price was fall down from its all time high last year but in the long run i think 2018 would be another explosive year for bitcoin

for the moment I myself can not judge it. because today there are so many governments who want to fight bitcoin, and include in my own country. but I judge last year that chinese was the biggest bitcoin threat, and by that time the bitcoin price had fallen, and it was only temporary, bitcoin recovered and the price was increasing.

I think the bitcoin price in 2018 will be higher than in 2017 because more and more countries are accepting bitcoins and many people know bitcoins. At present bitcoin prices have risen to more than $ 11,000. I do not think bitcoin will stop this milestone, according to my estimate, the bitcoin price will increase to more than $ 20,000 in the next few weeks. Looking at the supply and demand I think this will definitely happen.

As far as now the 2018 is not a good year for the bitcoin because the price almost decreased to 1/3 of it peak value in 2017 this is happened due to many factors like regulation and beginning of the year.But I hope the price will get back into the track again into the back end of the year but no one can eactly predict the price but now the price is recovering I hope it will continue to do.

Well I think the history of Bitcoin will repeat itself every year but will also depends on the situation. January 2017 is not that good for me but price slowly goes up now. My prediction would be at price range of $30,000 by the end of 2018. FUD and regulation issues are the common factor of every dip but it doesn't matter because Bitcoin can easily recover those fall because the community is continueously increasing day by bay.

I think it will be a recovery and low profit year. In my opinion a new ath will only happen after or close to the middle of the year. During the second half of the year it will. Ontinue to grow and reach a peak at the end of the year before it goes down again. I think once we pass the tax season we will see more excitment in the crypto markets in general.

It's all going to be based assumptions because nobody can confidently tell that bitcoin will be better this year even though the mathematics of last yhear if applied  and indeed comes to pass could skyrocket bitcoin but from the start of the year it looks as if things are moving slower than last year and makes it difficult to predict.

yes i think 2018 is better than 2017 for bitcoin because many more people knows about bitcoin in 2017 the price of bitcoin is $900 to $18000 in year 2017 and than down to $6000 in jan 2018 there are very ups and down in cryptocurrency market but we are expected bitcoin gives outstanding performance in year 2018

Year after year bitcoin has been surprising us with nicer price so this year it won't rise back like 2017 as every year gains are unique but I'm not saying it won't rise as it is an absolute prediction that each year its like a practice to increase surprisingly.

if were talking about specific coins like bitcoin.well my answer is YES bitcoin can break the price of 2017 and will make more than bigger,but the whole market i dont know,because many coins now is really doing best to recover but always denied.so i cant make prediction about it

No one really knows what lies ahead for bitcoin this year. It may be a good year this year or it isn't better enough than last year. But the good thing is bitcoin is start recovering from being down and the 20,000$ mark is not far away from bitcoin's price today.

BTC price has being started to recover and crossed 11100$ . So the Chinese New Year has started of with the good beginning and expected that this bull now will continue as the prices have fallen a lot in last couple of months. So soon we will see again the btc prices crossing 14k and above .

Bitcoin still able to keep going up. But not as good as 2017, where the spike really grows to more than x6 within 1 year. Maybe in 2018, bitcoin could be in the range $14K - $18K.
