Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin

2017 is the most phenomenal year for bitcoin and makes bitcoiners very profitable, by 2018 it's a tough year for bitcoin and it's hard to predict bitcoin prices this year but I hope bitcoin will recover soon and will give a profit in 2107

2017 was probably the best year for cryptocurrencies and it is very naïve to think that performance can be repeated in the very next year, so it's quite likely that this year is going to be a year in which not much is going to happen and the price is going to remain close to the current levels, but it's very likely that 2019 is going to be a great year too.

I know what you mean there are many people that are very positive about the prospects in this year and while I cannot blame them I prefer to be a little bit more realistic about my predictions when I see how good the previous year was it is almost impossible for me to think that this year is going to be this good.

There's a lot of buzz and the predictions are high but to speculate is always wise.

2017 nearly ended up with a big bang on bitcoin's value but 2018 started a bit weak (yet still not bad) but the predictions on bullish season has scarcely reached it's high as many predicted months of March and April to be a good run.

Many has grown upset and blue with the sea of red in the 1st quarter of the year, but hey, if there's one thing bitcoin brags about is, it is the element of surprise.

Tables can be turned (and even overturned) at any time this year (or it could be the other way around too), let's keep our hopes leveled.

From a value lower that centavo, until this time that is has reached thousands, 8k to be specific. Imagine how far bitcoin was able to reach from where it was before. Yes volatility is always present in bitcoin but try to be a keen observer, it never failed us to move up every now and then. It might have rolled down for the past months but then it is continuous on its way up again. This only means that bitcoin will not bring us down. Never. And for a fact, it is going to rise higher this coming months and I believe that shall end in a good price.

I think yes, this year a lot of good news about bitcoin, and I just saw in the news that bitcoin is now in the mine 17 million, and the rest now live 4 million this means bitcoin supply to mined less and future demand will experience increase, that's because a lot of people who HOLD be d 2018 will be the biggest year of bitcoin.

There's a chance but it is still hard to determine given that there are still 7 months remaining and it is still too early to make conclusions on how will bitcoin end this year whether it will be positive or not. As for now,invest and hold. The msrket has just started recovering from the continuous dumps at the beginning of this year

I think 2018 its better than 2017 and i am positively thinking that 2018 bitcoin price will grow up double the price last year. Now its better to hold bitcoin and wait for this year are going to the moon again.

You think that we will see double the ATH price? ~$50k - that is overly optimistic IMO. The highest price I can imagine at this point is $20k.
There is absolutely no indication, no element which potentially will spike the price that high.
And with the ever-tightening lawe&regulation Bitcoin will lose the status of the holy grail asset of tax evaders too...

Well that's a bit gloomy contrary to the previoua comment. But the way i see it, even though we didn't start the year right since it a bloody market, the value of btc is still way above it's value that started last year. If it's any indication, we may exceed the previous all time high since mostly that happens yearly

This year situations are very the same as were in the last year accept the timings of its rise and down values. Because of the increase and decrease in demands the price fluctuates and we know that the demand last year can not be the same as compared to this year demand rate. As long as we are going with the passage of time we will find a rich market soon with the passage of time.

We cannot simply look at the price at the beginning of the year to try to guess the price at the end of the year, in 2017 a lot of things happened and most of them were positive, it is very doubtful that 2018 is going to be as good as a year not only about how high the price will go but also in the news we got.

I think it would not increase as much as it has increase in year 2017. It has increase more than 10x until the end of the year. With the price now, there are many speculation that it would increase to as much as $25,000 which would be 2x or 3x to the current price. With all the good news surrounding cryptocurrencies since some countries are willing to regulate it then mass adoption would continue. Some people who are skeptic about it are starting to get involved with it because they can see a potential. The usage of blockchain technology is going to new heights as well.

Of course. It will be so much better . Actually I've heard of something in Facebook that bitcoin's race is just starting. So what are we going to do now? Pack your bags of bitcoins and HODL. And another thing of what I've heard, bitcoin might race to 350,000 USD this April! I am not hyping you guys but I'll be sure to hodl!

Yes it is possible that 2018 is more better for bitcoin.Nowadays Bitcoin price is less as compared to the last year so the less price can make more investments which can make more earnings.More investment can also rise in bitcoin and can reach it to the peak.

You bought bitcoin during the dip $6,000 on February and now it's around $9,700 so you made $3,700 for 1 bitcoin with less than 3 months. Isn't that profitable?

Nobody knows and guarantees that 2018 is better than 2017, as we know that there is currently so much negative news about bitcoin that it makes a lot of users trust the false news and choose cut lose.

I pretty much feel like it won't be just better than 2017 but it will end up reaching at higher all time high price in 2018. 2017 was like best year of bitcoin its very impossible to reach that level of increase soon enough.

It's hard to tell. 2017 was realy amazing, at least the end of it. Now everyone is expecting this to happen again and even be better, for price to go way up and maybe even reach 50k. This year hasn't started so promising but there is still time to catch up. But I think it's better not to have to big expectations, this could be only average year for Bitcoin.
