My opinion about ETH

In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?

Personally for me, ethereum is one of the most useful coins out there, not to mention the fact that most bounty participants almost use ethereum for trading. This is why for me, it is one of the most promising coins other than bitcoin of course. Right now, I've been using ethereum as a source of income via trading for quite some time.

ETH started well this year, and it seems that it continues to grow, but I do not agree that it will still reach the bitcoin price. He still has a lot of problems, and ICO is not enough to boost it. And I think that ETH will have a good competition this year: NEO, Waves, ADA, DRGN, ICX.

It started well end of last year and was such a good margin offering for those who entered only a year ago. I finally got into ETH around $800 properly, I sold a little above $1k and am happy with where it is now. That is has managed to stay at levels near 1000 is good to see, but I wish it would really stay out of the 10% range of Bitcoin for me to take it even more seriously. Eth 2.0 hasn't really fixed the problems, although that remains to be seen when full implementations roll out. Add Stratis to that list of competition!

yes I agree, the value of ethereum is very potential to grow fast this year. but not with some of your words, I think bitcoin is still a strong candidate for the ultimate crypto. yes, bitcoin is still used for all things related to altcoin.

Yes it is being heaily used as an ICO launch pad but NEO is starting to gain some traction here and I guess EOS will be competing also after the summer.

Yes you are right because fundamentally speaking ETH was really good than Bitcoin. That's why my choice are BTC<ETH<NEO it's like a social networking site evolution for me too Facebook<Twitter<Instagram.

There is certainly a chance that ETH will overtake BTC in cap this year. When ETH moves to the hybrid PoS system we should see at least a partial resolution of the scaling issues.
But one thing I've learned in my time in crypto is never underestimate BTC. This is under active development as well, and if LN comes in it could be a game-changer and lead to a huge BTC price rise, which could suck value away from all of the alts.

I can say that ETH is a good cryptocurrency to hold since most of the token of the ICOs are tradable in this cryptocurrency or eth, the value of the eth will never gondown very latge value. It may go down but in a low value only.

I'm a big investor in ETH, but the speed of it, and the longterm scalability is clearly not enough (let's say very bad), for a mass user usability.
I'm currently more impressed by NEO, and also some vaporware that have a lot of potential but are currently just words on a paper...

I do not think that eth will cost about 20 000 )) Maybe eth will have more volatility than other crypto and it will make x3-x4 in 2018!

Right now, the transaction fee is low and the number of queued transactions number less than 10,000. But the Bitcoin market dominance still remains below the 40% mark. And if I remember correctly, then 12 months back this figure was close to 80%.

Historically it developed so that altkoina moved in a tandem with bitcoin. Where bitok, there and they. To this day the movements of the majority of quotations in this market depend anyway on BTC. The bitcoin holds the cryptomarkets in iron hand of the influence. It is some kind of wind which inflates sails of the cryptoships or can break them against rocks suddenly.

However in January when the bitcoin and an other crypt reeled, two moments in which the quotations of air did not follow BTC were evident at once. Despite massive sag within almost all January and the beginning of February, air, among the few other cryptocurrencies, in general remained in a green zone.

I prefer eTH now for long-term-investment because its very strong smart contract platform with Vitalik Buterin,all potential we will see in 1,2 years, eth looks right now more stronger than btc and more valuable, because a lot of Ico's now on eth and most tokens are erc20. I probably agree completely with your opinion, since it is the etherium that is serviced by virtually all of the company's ico. At least he has much more merit than Bitcoin.

Reach the price of bitcoin in 2018 ethereum is unlikely to be able to. But it has a great advantage due to the fact that it has a faster transaction speed than bitcoin. And also there are advantages in that ICO projects create their own tokens on the ERC-20 standard.

I think to match the bitcoin for this year is very difficult, bitcoin is still firmly on the top, it may take a long time, but nothing is impossible.
