Of course not the popularity of bitcoin is rapidly increased all over the world.Many people are aware what is BTC is? Because they influence they relatives and co- workers and social media about Bitcoin so it will not loses its popularity. Time will come a BTC become a abig asset to the whole world.

Though there is negative news about bitcoin in the media , Bitcoin will definitely pick up soon.Bitcoin popularity daily increases, this is unconnected with the low price of which many are using as an advantage to to invest in bitcoin. The period of the dip is just for a while, just hold on ,don't panic and you will definitely reap the reward for patience and trust in this cryptocurrency called bitcoin.

I don't think so, many people heard about Bitcoin few months ago during its last increasing highly, and great newspapers and TV channels started talking about it, and they helped indirectly to spread the word more about this crypto currency. Its popularity nowadays is bigger than the last year for sure.

I think even though many of the new coin that attracts attention will not interfere with the popularity of bitcoin so far, because I think it will only run in some time. the new coins are present while bitcoin is decreasing, but instead of switching it can paralyze bitcoin because the decrease of bitcoin is a natural fluctuation, just for new people who are ambitious in coins, they carry on the atmosphere, while old and senior people will stick with bitcoin . |

I think it is not losing its popularity. Actually there are some instances that this backdrop captured the attention of ither people because its value is now lower compared to its price last year which tempts them to invest on it for havibg expectations that its price will eventually increase again and profit will be earned. also, backdrops are normal and is fue to its volatility so I think it has no big relation with its popularity in the market.

Yes you do have a point on stating that there are really existing altcoin cryptocurrency which offers higher amount to be obtained compared to Bitcoin but despite of all the odds Bitcoin was facing right now, I do believe that Bitcoin was still the most popular cryptocurrency that exist. And still altcoins that offer higher amount still rely on Bitcoin and many people are still into trading those to turn it into Bitcoin. |

I think those people who uses other coins are still using bitcoin to be exchanged with their tokens. They depend on the price of bitcoin as they use their coins. And I think it is not losing its popularity, its just that it is not gaining in a rate like last year. But still all those people who are hooked up with cryptocurrency can not argue that they still look at bitcoin's price and monitors it. |

What does it mean "give you more profit?". In one day? One week? One year? Since they are born? Bitcoin is by far still the coin which has given more profit to its early holders that ANY other coins which has come afterwards. Of course, if you chose the timeframe of your choice applied to the coins of your choice you can get very different results. |

I don't see bitcoin loses its popularity day by day but the reverse of it which is increasing its popularity. Every day we always see cryptocurrency in the social medias like facebook, twitter, instagram etc. and many people are using this platforms. Many will see the ad and will try to do some research with it. Since we know that bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency, they will see it first and now bitcoin gained popularity again. This cycle will happen to the other people who become curious with this concept. They will become more interested when they know it can give profit to them and they will spread it to their neighbors. Now bitcoin is gaining popularity.

It doesn't help also that only big miners can mine BTC and not average GPU/CPU users. This is not what Sathoshi wanted. Mining should be available for everyone. But now we have hard fork called Bitcoin Cash which is 8 times faster and much cheaper, which resembles Satoshi idea more closely |

I agree, if the price goes down to the decline in popularity, it is wrong. Bitcoin prices are volatile, and that's reasonable because bitcoin is strongly influenced by demand and supply. In contrast, the role of social media actually makes bitcoin increasingly popular. |

All crypto currencies have lost popularity, thus the price crash. They are not dead. They just became too popular too fast and everyone rushed to get them. It may have lost its luster of get rich quick but is still a viable and the best way so far to transfer money.

I believe it wasn't. When the price is much lower, it wasn't mean that it already lost its popularity because bitcoin is unstable, the price will rise and fall at the same time.

I don't think so because if it's not, huge media outlets won't bother to make it their headlines anymore which is sensationalizing FUDs. Actually, bitcoin is helping these news online or on tv to get more viewers/visitors because it is very popular.

Bitcoin still has the highest potential to increase in price IMO. It IS losing its popularity against other coins since its utilization is nothing special nowadays. We should get more new technology into bitcoin to gain them back. Dunno what it can do more though.
