I agree with all the above comments. Bitcoin popularity going down gradually but still its still the basis of Blockchain which makes it possible for it Not to go into extinction because it will always be used to purchase the recent altcoins.
I don't think so. Actually the price of bitcoin does not affect its popularity. Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency around the globe today. Many people are still investing in bitcoin due to its unpredictable increase of value as demands goes high.

In my opinion BTC will and can never lose it popularity. Most novicees and uninitiated introduction to cryptocurrencies starts from bitcoins, before they even learn about other coins. Yes it can lose it value in the market but not its popularity.

bitcoin is still popular today, yes about bitcoin prices yesterday experienced a rapid decline, then I think it all can not stop bitcoin become unpopular again, and it is true the price started now has started up again, so bitcoin remains the highest fixed price coin and remain famous.

I think whats happening with bitcoin now is just normal, its just sleeping i think, we shouldnt be worry about it, all things go through this downfall even us, but eventually it will come back. Greater than before, so we shouldnt be so worry about whats happening with it, all we have to do is invest and take risk from it.

Really unless im living in a cave and don't realize ,like seriously?loosing popularity ? i don't think a single day has passed over the last six months at least where the word bitcoin hasn't been used. Arizona is trying to legislate the use of bitcoins, some KFC stores in Canada are accepting bitcoins, not to mention the SEC giving bitcoins a so called green light. Quote me on this  bitcoins is the currency that will take us into the new world order.

The bitcoin popularity cannot be loss anymore in fact it is now really slowly getting trend and more popular each day because of its amazing features that makes all investors gain in a very simple way maybe in the near future bitcoin will continue to rise and to become more valuable.

it is not losing popularity, but high transactions fees could make the crypto unsuitable for small charges.. and that could lead to lower usage...

I think it one of the reason why some of the investors/traders opted on altcoins. BTC should do something on this. High fee can ready hurt the market if the the investors/traders will sell out their BTC in exchange of altcoins this cause to the price of BTC to drop more badly.

Bitcoin will be the future of modern currency. Do not listen to anyone who speaks bad about bitcoin. They are fooling you to buy your bitcoin for cheap.

No. According to investors and analysts, the long fall of the bite is "easy to grips with cybercrime".
In this case, experts note that the reasons for a prolonged fall of the bitcoin rate are several. Among them - new rules for traders in South Korea. Now they will have to identify themselves with a bank account. In this way, the market wants to protect themselves from criminality.
In addition, the course fell due to rumors of bitcoin theft on South Korean exchanges.
Another reason is the intention of India's authorities to completely ban the crypto-currency trade in their territory.

Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?

I don't think the price of bitcoin can be affected by the amount of coins in the market and the profits they tend to generate. As at the moment, the popularity of bitcoin cannot be measured to any other coin. The only thing i see for now that would affect the popularity of bitcoin, is lack of acceptance and usage.

Is is quite evident that price of bitcoin is touching its far bottom now a days but you can not say that due to this it is losing its popularity. Whatever it will oos or gain its price, on every mouth there will be discussion about bitcoin that will increase its fame.

I think bitcoin will not lose its popularity even when bitcoin prices go down, bitcoin is becoming increasingly popular because it's a good time to buy bitcoin and will many people continue to buy.

I think Bitcoin is still one of the most famous crypto currencies that many are still interested in, because bitcoin still dominates the market from the front. Its popularity is increasing every day. No other coin is stable compared to bitcoin. It is a high turbulent market. Only people who sell who panic, those who have their patience will continue to survive because they know bitcoin has great potential to bounce back .
