Actually, I think bitcoin is hardly able to reach $ 20000 this year, so we can see in January 2018 that the price of bitcoin has dropped by more than 50%, at some times over $ 9,000. . I hope these words come true as USD 40,000 was predicted to be the price of bitcoin by the end of 2018 but if it can reach 100,000k then that would be wonderful let's hope forHhe best and yes in couple of months there will be a huge pump as usual and more funds will be coming into bitcoin.

This prediction is very optimistic. $100,000 this year is nearly impossible. If this happens then more respectable investors will be more scared of Bitcoin and if this growth happens it is very possible that there could be a big crash.

My prediction will still be $20,000-$25,000 this year .

I do believe that Bitcoin and some other good crypto coins will grow very high but not sure whether bitcoins can reach 100K within this year. This year all governments are behind regulating all crypto investments so now on prices may not go up very fast but it will take more time to reach that target price. I'm very confident in a few years bitcoin may reach that price.

I agree with you. I do not believe either this will happen this year. The crypto market will become now more and more mature. And some sort of regulations will come more and more. If it is done right, it will actually support the market. As  only with some kind of higher trust more people are going to invest into the market.
Hopefully those upcoming regulations are made wisely to support the market instead of limiting the market to heavily and drying it out.

Oh great lets tell everyone to hold the bitcoin and shut down its healthy circulating supply. Holding doesn't mean that bitcoin will rise ever to higher peaks, the real thing we have to keep moving to, keep using it. FYI: This is what I learnt from the different threads on the forum and I agree on that point a lot now. Just made some calculation and I agree on that as if we keep holding it then we are actually locked out and there is no more demand for it. If circulation increases then automatically people will start buying more coins and then it will hike the market. Also, 40K is too much for the bitcoin. Im seeing positive waves from eh ETH side and it might just happen that people start investing into that an make it new king.

I doubt  Bitcoin to reach $100,000  even in 2019. My reason is that  the demand for bitcoin  is not high as we see in the previous  years. News of bitcoin  recently  is mostly negative, particularly  from the Asia.  All this has reduced the interest of  holding  bitcoin.

agree. there is a lot of negative news. maybe people will gradually understand that this is a pyramid - because many people probably entered the "tops of the course." my forecast is $ 15,000-25,000 for the year 2018. may even be less than $ 15,000.

Well yes it is indeed introduced to different sides of industries  but the problem is how many of them do approved or accept crypt? Many people do doubt the capability of crypt in how safe their transaction is. I do agree that for now hackers don't have ways in breaking the security system of crypt but in the future will it be the same? The biggest issue for now is trust. That is why it is hard to say that BTC would hit the 100k$ mark.

Yes your amount is reachable. Like for the bitcoins in last year, price started from $2500 and it took the charge and shoot up to $21000 this was only because of the reason that people started knowing about bitcoins. These were bought from international market and supply demand rule worked that creates the inflation in price of bitcoins. And this will be happening in near future as well.

Wow amazing if bitcoin will reach $100000 in 2018.As l read comments this is what bitcoin asset why investors are interested in bitcoin. I know many bitcoiners are waiting for this moments that everybody's monitoring for the price now. Even though lts very hard to wait for the moment of rising price now, we have to be patiently wait because all of us are beneficiaries of bitcoin. We are all affected of bitcoin crash. Bitcoin as they say there is time for everything. So l will wait for that time.
