Livecoin is updating to the new wallet dev just posted about. Less than 3000 blocks until the new wallet is mandatory and the difficulty retargeting will be much better, the hashrate will be more stable with less spikes up/down, and your wallet should send coins a lot faster. Remember if you don't need anonymous sending, move the slider down to 0 or 1 and coins will get moved faster. Looking good!

how does the https://support.ipbc.io/ pool have more hashrate than the network?

It has obviously forked. Someone dropped way to much hash on the support pool and forked the coin. If the devs aren't careful the rest of the network may sync to that fork and the main daemon will be orphaned.

Not forked. Right now the pools report hashrate based on an avg. of the last 24 hours or something, so the stats are wrong. The diff retargeting speed up at block 23000 should make the pools numbers more accurate, but they will never be 100% correct, that is the way diff works.

Oh wow ok, so its not 12Mh/s its 40+. Thats crazy! Someone is about to dump a lot of coins.

At this rate I'm going to have to leave this small pool im on, we won't find a block for days now. I'll move to the support pool.

Official pools can fork though right? Thats why ITNS shut down their pool, too many people on the main pool was causing too many fork problems, screwing the other pools.

My wallet stops syncing at block #16600. I've already downloaded the most recent wallet version and restored my seed. I keep into the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Hello everyone!

We have just released another wallet update (1.0.6) containing vital updates. Please make sure you get it, as it's important for the coins future.
You can get it here: https://ipbc.io/wallet

Pool and explorer operators should update their daemons from the latest github code. (https://github.com/ipbc-dev/ipbc)

Because of recent instability caused by Nicehash miners coming and going, we have decided to implement a new difficulty algorithm.
Initially we considered Zawy's SHM, but after some internal testing settled on his newer LWMA / WHM algorithm. (https://github.com/zawy12/difficulty-algorithms/issues/3)
This should make the difficulty much more responsive to these kinds of attacks, and should improve solvetime stability, improving life for everyone.
Another change is the adjusting of the block reward penalty, which will now allow much bigger blocks with full reward.

These changes are configured to come into force at block 23000.

Thank you for your continued support.
~ The IPBC Team

Is there a setup file to use for the new wallet? I just see a new zip file with a wallet inside instead of the full package.

Hi dev,
Before I create wallet from website
Now I'm using IPBC wallet download from github
What happen with my ipbc from older wallet? I can sent it to now wallet?

Thanks bro!
Hello!
If you still have the PDF that is generated on the website, you can use the "Restore Keys" (mnemonic seed) to import your old address into the wallet application. (File -> Restore from mnemonic seed).
Now you should be able to use your funds from the old wallet, and if you like, you could send them to your new wallet, or anywhere else.
No worries, I hope this helps!

here it is

- Copy your mnemonic seed from paper wallet
- Open GUI wallet
- Choose File > Restore from mnemonic seed
- Paste your seed, choose a path and press OK

- Bonus: encrypt your wallet with a strong password for additional security

Devs might have plans for asking to list IPBC on other exchanges. Please keep calm and stay tuned for more exciting news.
