No, it's not an ETH token. It is a real POW mineable only coin.
The first mined ETH token with smart contract is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3039182.msg31273994#msg31273994, another interesting project his year. IPBC coin is also very good project this year, but at this moment, too high hashrate is in the pool from ASIC machines.

Hey guys! i mined with my 2 Gpu PC IPBC (about 1,1k hash) with no problems but when i want to mine with my 6 gpu rig i only get about 550 h/s... i cannot find the problem, would be great if somebody could help me with this problem! thanks in advance!
Would be better if you tell us your rig specifications, which mining software you use and it's config! We can't really help without these. Win 10 home - 6 gtx 1070 - 16 GB Ram stupid question i think but where i can find their config? We need to know the software you use to mine (xmr-stak, ccminer, minergate, xmrig, etc) and it's config file. I've checked the cryptonight's hashrate for a 1070 and it looks like you have only one GPU mining. i'm using xmr-stak tried it once with ccminer but didn't worked Nvidia.config:"gpu_threads_conf" : [ // gpu: GeForce GTX 1070 architecture: 61 // memory: 6789/8192 MiB // smx: 15 { "index" : 0, "threads" : 28, "blocks" : 45, "bfactor" : 6, "bsleep" : 25, "affine_to_cpu" : false, "sync_mode" : 3, }, At first glance your settings looks good to me. Can you post a screenshot of xmr-stak's report (press "h" in mining window) maybe we could find a clue in it! Thanks for helping! Sorry for the late answer, wasn't able to get to the miner earlier. https://picload.org/view/daplaoll/img_0582.jpg.htmlhttps://picload.org/view/daplaoli/img_0583.jpg.htmlThe reason you're only getting 550 H/S is that it's only your CPU mining. Your GPUs are doing absolutely nothing right now. First thing I'd check is the Windows Device Manager to see if your GPUs are recognized by the system. If not it's a driver issue. You could also install MSI Afterburner, you could see if it detect them. (But don't mess too much with this software, you coud burn your GPUs.) If all is OK with the driver, I'd re-check your XMR-STAK config (nvidia.txt) to be sure you didn't miss a character somewhere. An easy way would be to delete all config files and start XMR-STAK again and it will prompt you to create the config files. Then you can tweak them as you want. Should you have to reinstall the driver, follow the instructions on https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/performing-a-clean-gpu-driver-installation.65/ before reinstalling.

Socket errors because of poor server I think. Just look at the share accepting time. I even wasn't able to mine with xmr-stak Same problem here, its happened in last 7 days, now i'm mining in http://cryptoknight.cc/ipbc/ ... none errors till now

I started getting socket errors in the last 12 hours and when it did log in. I was getting mostly rejected shares.... I am running the latest xmr-stak on the v7 algo option I think I might need to reset the config to "cryptonight" instead of "Monero 7". I didn't have time to mess with it and just threw it in another coin for now. I had been running that config for a day or two with no problems until last night.... So maybe it is the pool? ? EDIT: confirmed, it was not my miners config causing the problem. I moved to http://cryptoknight.cc/ipbc/ been hashing away with no problems. In defense of the dev pool. I personally found it to be mostly reliable. I have gotten socket errors on a couple of other days in the last month but not as bad as last night.

Basic ideas behind IPBC project looks almost the same of Musicoin project, which creates platform for musicians and composers to earn more money from community and their fans. IPBC has different target population, which are books' authors, film producers, etc. However, I think both projects are good because they can change media ecosystem and help composers, authors to get money that they deserved to have.

Can someone please explain the mining part of IPBC? The amount of people watching content does not affect the speed of IPBC creation through mining? Is it possible to calc when the Total supply Will be reached?

Any1 else having issue getting the wallet to sync? I am stuck at block 23,001 out of 47,176.
edit...
Using wallet version 1.05. Do I have to upgrade? If so, what file must I save and bring over to the new folder?
edit #2...
Never mine, updated to 1.07 and it is working. Not sure how it found my wallet but it did. i just unzip and clicked the xls. will be saving the old wallet folder and also made sure I wrote my seed down.

Good news, but: "Q: How will these changes affect my hashrate? A: You can expect ~60% decrease in hashrate. Inhouse, hashrate of a single RX Vega graphics card lowered from 1850 H/s to 650 H/s." Really? this is very bad
