I do not think that the etherium can ever take the place of bitcoin. Bitcoin has always been number one and number one and will remain. As if his technology is not out of date, he will always remain first.

once ethereum will switch to PoS and Casper is applied, enabling the difficulty bomb (that will disable any type of mining), Ethereum will crash in price because then, the price will only be related to signing contracts and not gambling like it is now.
Can anyone tell me a good contract for ETH in the last 6 months that can actually imply it will succeed doing smart contracts and all this kind of stuff?? Noone.
Till then, ETH will be a good coin to mine and gamble with it.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?
For this year it may be difficult to shift bitcoin at the top of the crypto, although many ICO's are based on Eth. I think bitcoin will remain the culmination of crypto for the next 2-5 years, but i also believe that increasing time ethereum can shift bitcoin at the top let alone see the project based on Ethereum itself. |

I agree, Ethereum users now put forward features and services that can be enjoyed for holders of ETH tokens, although the largest volume is still held by BTC, but holding ETH is more fun than holding BTC (I think personally) |

There may be only one king on the market, and now that bitcoin, it is right to say that over the past two years fewer or more people are converting their assets into eseirum, but still I think bitcoin has more potential to stay as a kind of Crypto world for a long time. It is expected that very soon we will see a good move in the price of Bitcoin. But that's my personal opinion.
I can say that Ethereum cannot be consider as the new king of crypto because I heard that bitcoin will soon goes rise this year. And bitcoin has really the capacity that it will has longer than we thought. Bitcoin is now considered as gold because of its value. |

It's not yet the new king. But I think it has more potential then Bitcoin. This year would be very hard to dethrone the Bitcoin.
It's not impossible, but it's not the time yet.

Still every coin is tied to Bitcoin and its price falls once Bitcoin's price falls so I don't think Ethereum is ready to overtake it

Currently, ethereum is in good price and increasing, but it can not be a benchmark that ethereum can lead and remove bitcoin from the first position. Now Ripple has begun to show strength in the market slowly but surely its value continues to rise and this could have removed the ethereum from the second position. |

Just because bitcoin's price is correcting at this period of the year, does not mean that it will be replaced by an altcoin. Ethereum can be a substitute for bitcoin but you can never tell that it replaced bitcoin as the leading crypto right now.

I agree with you, Bitcoin is the King no one can replaced her throne. The price of bitcoin last year it reach $20,000 and there are prediction about Bitcoin it may be reach to $50k. |

Maybe it happen if all investor are turn on into ethereum.  Ether is one of the most stable coin in the market because most of new ICO's are implemented blockchain ethereum. The chance of ether to reach the value of bitcoin in the future is big.  |

No i don't think so Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin and become the new king of cryptocurrency. Yeah its true Ethereum is very stable in compare to bitcoin but bitcoin price is very high in compare to Ethereum.Bitcoin is the leader of all coins you can't compare bitcoin with any other coin.
