Hello guys...

I have diversified my portfolio to about 25 different cryptos which were worth about 7000-8000$ just before the bitcoin crash came and I am wondering whats the exact reason behind this, when or will it recover (and so the alt coins I hold, don't have any bitcoin).

Why do almost all alt coins crash because of the bitcoin crash or correction?

My portfolio is worth only 4000$ atm.

Sorry for being an beginning idiot and asking this and thanks for everybody who can explain it to me
You can help those beginners by explaining how your experience works and how you ranked up here in forum by posting.

When I was a beginner no one helps me about here in Bitcoin on how I can understand this. I just explore this forum reading the questions of others and I understand it by myself.

We should help beginners for more understanding and give some knowledge or hits by sharing them everything so you can help others also to have some more income

We can give informstions to the beginners for them to know what is going on. All of us starts from beginner, I am very much to welcome the beginners who are interested to ask question on me. To explain for the process is really taking time and needs to step by step. In sharing, it must be adequate so that she will feel satisfactory in entertaining the questions.

If you only hold your crypto assets during the downfall of bitcoin, then for sure you will somehow feel bitcoin's presence as its market price is going up. At least, you already recovering a bit from your loss. Just hold it, wait for it before you sell it.

Well, actually you are not an idiot at the first place because it was just normal that a beginner cannot easily understand it because it was new to him that is why you need to explore more to better understand these things for you to be able to get awareness. Well, that was also my observation since I have been into crypto world. That was really the application of law of demand since it was still a currency even it is a digital currency. In anytime, price really change and falls back afterwards because price movement was really inevitable for this type of currency due to fluctuation that we users and even consumers are being a great factor for this happenings.

It is very normal for you to make changes to your account because you are investing. The investment you make will always increase or decrease. It is therefore necessary to invest in knowing these things. If the risk is not the opposite of what you think, you can try and sell your existing money by buying and selling it. Of course, you need to remember that if you have inexperience and panic, you can also reduce your money.

To help the beginner in knowing or familiarizing in bitcoin you must teach him the basic terms that he should know about it. Bitcoin is a digital currency which has a volatile value means value may rise up or falls down. You need to have a guidance so you will know the bitcoin in easy way. And after that you can now be part of bitcoin world.

The price of cryptocurrency for a third-party observer is a random variable and it changes to a larger or smaller side at any time.

What I understand is that I can learn from your mistakes. If I had to explain why, maybe because we can not actually predict exactly and precisely in this crypto world.

As a begginer also I don't have much knowledge when it come's to the deepest thing about cryptocurrency but seriously I want to study and understand all about crypto world. I think you don't need to be a super intelligent to start or to enter the virtually world of currency all you need to is accept all consequences and always strive for you to reach the man goal in life.

Do not afraid to try everything  do not make a limitation about what you do to earn more experiences and keep learning for those experiences.

we all here were a beginner for the first time to get involved in the cryptocurrency but if we want to learn something in the cryptocurrency, I am sure that we can get more knowledge in here. no matter how big your coin worth, as long as you can learn something, I am sure that you can increase your money in that coin so when you sell your coin, you can get much money and this will help you to gain more benefits from the cryptocurrency itself. never too late to learn something related with cryptocurrency especially in the trading section because you will find new ways that will work for you.

You can explain it by the fact that the whole market capital is based on BTC, even though it's dominance is only around ~35%. To understand easier imagine yourself as a nerdy, nervous and completely unexperienced crypto investor. If the BTC goes down, most nervous people cash out immediately and cause the rate to drop, which triggers some more nervous people to cash out and so on. It happens all over the market and there is really nothing deep behind it.
