It said we'll apply for big exchanges which we did, but then with the loss of circulating supply being shown at CMC, we lost the momentum/volume required for a listing at a top exchange, and now aim to first release important upgrades to our wallets/Bitcoin 2 before listing at new exchanges. Current ETA one week or so for the wallet upgrade part of that, new exchange listing(s) expected to come some time after that.

LMAO just admit this coin is fraud clone of Bitcoin lmao no hardfork

for the ppl like you that don't have any bitcoin during the hardfork,thats really nothing matter if this is a clone or  a hardfork.....but....for the ppl that do have bitcoin during the hardfork....we know that this is a hardfork.....Cheers!

So say if you have 10 BTC from 2015 do you have a hard fork of BTC 2 also or not...confused on what is transpiring here.

everything is good with BTC2 ! Pos, masternode, anonymous and good dev ! Better than Bitcoin ! And the price is cheap... Not for a long time !

Regarding the implemented Zerocoin technology, what does this coin offer that ZCoin does not offer? Couldn't I just use ZCoin?

Here's the current main differences:
Proof of Stake instead of Proof of Work algorithm so anybody can easily earn block rewards without special mining hardware or wasting electricity, BTC2 started with Bitcoin's addresses and balances, BTC2 supports more transactions per second, transactions confirm faster, swift transactions feature provided by masternodes that can confirm transactions within seconds, before they appear in a block.

Maybe correct, but that doesn't mean ZCoin won't make any further progress. They have a pretty strong development team and will keep up with most recent advancements or even set new precedents.

It is starting to look like you don't have enough funds for the listing of bitcoin 2 in exchanges and the development, and that you are just keeping the wallet update as an excuse to keep pushing that fact away and buy more time for no reason, you already missed the wallet update deadline 2 weeks ago, and now we don't even have a new ETA, and to tell the truth, we don't really need wallet updates to be listed in new CMC exchanges, mine is working fine at the moment, you can list right now and always fix it later after that.

Those delays to list in exchanges is bad marketing and because of your lack of tact BTC2 is being losing value, and your whole community is being losing money. Thank YOU

Those with not that many coins just waiting for a pump might not care about the long-term use cases and value of BTC2, but we do.

We have the funds for exchange listings, but any new listings will also require volume so even if we got listed today, does not mean that we would be immediately eligible for a top 200 ranking. Not that a ranking is even the only way to gain spotlight again.

Check out how much Ethereum's POS update has been delayed as an example. Delays in crypto development are common. ETA is not a deadline, it was our best guess at the time that we made it. We would refrain from making such guesses if it wasn't for the community asking for them.

Your arguments are good, but that doesn't mean that you are right in everything you said.

Ethereum can afford to make delays, they are already a proven top notch crypto currency, bitcoin 2 is not, and I'm not saying that you can't have delays, because you CAN, we are humans after all, however when you have delays, you give something in return to keep your credibility (and improve it) and the goodwill of the community.

But when you reach an ETA and come empty-handed, that fractures the community and what the people think of you is reflected on the price of the project.

The community is expecting 2 cmc exchanges for a while now, when you reached the ETA at end of the last month, you had to list btc2 in at least 1 of those 2 exchanges to keep the community engaged, (and throw the bad news about the wallet update delay at the same time) that would have kept the community intact.    

And yes, ETAs are estimations not deadlines, but we really do everything in life based on estimations in case you didn't know, I mean we are alive today, but we don't know if we are going to be alive next month for example, we are estimating that we will, but we are not really sure because we might get hit by a random bus or something.

We are close to releasing the v.2.2 Bitcoin 2 Core wallets. They are going through final testing. Most likely to be released on 20th of August 2019. This will be a mandatory upgrade.
