Ripple could never dethrone bitcoin. Price wise, by just comparing their total supply, it could never exceed bitcoin's achievement. And with the community bitcoin is having, bitcoin will continue its reign over other cryptocurrencies.

I think you have a point there but it is not all about the total supply of a coin but usage and importance. Bitcoin is blockchain and decentralized, thus, orders can not be manipulated so to speak.

Also, in terms of maximum supply, I think in terms of bitcoin, it is there to be monitored as to the genuity of the totality otherwise I know of certain coin that has just 7million maximum supply but it price is just $0.0243

I like ripple too and lot of rich people are supporting ripple too but I don't think ripple can dethrone bitcoin. at this moment I don't think it will happen. bitcoin has a big value compare to ripple and it has been the number one cryptocurrency for a long time..it take a lot for ripple to dethrone bitcoin. bitcoin had proven that for long years. many times already that bitcoin had suffered the dip but bounced back bigger.

In my opinion bitcoin will remain as the king if all coins because it was the first cryptocurrency that was made and more popular than other coins. Since there are still a vast demand for bitcoin, i think it's monetary value will still increase and decrease but nevertheless the other rising coins won't beat bitcoin i believe. This was based on my own judgement and since no one can really predict the future of any things, let's just hope that bitcoin will remain as the king of all coins.
