For the next years I'd say that BTC will keep its position, I'm not so sure about the long term, think about what happened with Nokia and Apple for example.

Ripple never beat BTC. What happen or not, always BTC will be the king in crypto market. It is certain. Everytime, people says Ethereum the king, ripple the king... etc.

This one or another one, no one will beat BTC. When BTC price dropping, all other coin falls; When BTC price increasing, all other coin falls too. Because all of it price set by BTC. If we want to win from altcoins, we have to support BTC and wait for it what increase BTC Market Cap.

Ethereum has some serious problems also and it is a hindrance for itself to be a good rival for bitcoin in the long run because if ethereum is enough to defeat bitcoin then it already happen that it replace bitcoin from being top 1 but it is not happening and bitcoin is still the king of all the cryptocurrencies in the market and it will not change for a long time.
