I think so far no one can take over bitcoin. Because bitcoin is popular and many people prefer to invest than other coins. Possible coins will appear and potentially but no one can defeat bitcoin. There are no digital currencies without bitcoin and lower the bitcoin price affected all digital currencies

Bitcoin will still be king, I think. I say that because its value is still the highest, its potential is still the best amongst and compared to any coin in the market, and it's popularity is also at peak compared to other coins. Having said those characteristics, even if Bitcoin seems to be in a dire state now due to its erratic way of going and down in value, I think that it still holds the crown among all coins in the market. I, for one, would feel safer to invest in Bitcoin despite what's happening because I know it has the capacity to always climb up.

from now on and until next years, bitcoin will still king of all coins and will lead in the cryptocurrency without a doubt. I don't think that ripple can replace bitcoin position because the price is too cheap and I think there are many other good coins that will compete with ripple. although ripple gets a good position in the coinmarketcap, still need time before the price could increase. besides that, as far as I know, ripple is not decentralized and if ripple replaces bitcoin, then I think there will be a government interfere with the cryptocurrency because I heard that ripple makes something appointment with the government but I am not sure with this.

No more, no less Bitcoin will remain as a King of Cryptocurrency and nothing will replace to it. I believe that Bitcoin is the founder and guideline of other kind of crypto curriencies in the market. Maybe the long existence and successful operating it in crypto market is the cause why there's a lot of new currency was emerging in the market. However, maybe Ethereum will be the leading altcoins currency in the market but Bitcoin will stay on the top of it.

Coming from my own opinion, I bet nothing last forEver, thus there will come a time that bitcoin will slowly loses its rightful throne as the king or the major coin because some other coin will emerge as the new coin that will be the  reference of all. Remember, BTC is taken as the gold of cryptocurrency, that's why not even ETH will surpass it. If ETH rises to value of BTC someday, BTC will then be worth more than 50-60k. I know it sounds way too much but ETH and BTC are intertwined and they go up & down together.

Well, it's speculation and you can't conclusively be sure that is going to happen in the future but if it does happen then it's going to take quite a lot because bitcoin has the greater number of crypto enthusiast invested in it and so overturning the nearest of many to a new crypto will be difficult.

You should remove the word ever because bitcoin is beatable but as of now, it is not yet but just imagine through the years that bitcoin's technology will gets old and that is why the chance for bitcoin to become beatable is slowly going up because a lot of new technologies are popping in the market right now and soon we will see better coins than bitcoin that will replace it.

until now I still believe that bitcoin in the next 1 or 2 years will remain the king of all crypto currency. but for the next year I doubt if bitcoin will survive, now ethereum has become one of the bitcoin replacement candidates
