I go for the latter as the most probable thing to happen. Bitcoin will continue to hold the first position. The number one position has been with Bitcoin from the beginning until now. And no other coin shall ever get hold of it, especially not Ripple. Ripple is not even second right now. The second in rank is Ethereum. And even Ethereum itself cannot replace Bitcoin in the top spot for even a single second. Bitcoin will always be the king of all coins.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency  created to the year 2009. Due to its special features bitcoin has first attracted by the business community through out the world. The business people adopted bitcoin to their entire business transactions and hence it become popular world wide.  By understanding its features it could acquire the investors confidence and its global demand has increased.

Will this coin replace BITCOIN? The answer is nothing can replace bitcoin because the other altcoins are just a bitcoin follower because bitcoin is the first and will hold 1st rank of the price in the crypto market.
