Bitcoin has several flaws which other currency coins don't have but so far there has been no mass adoption of another currency coin to get anywhere near bitcoin. i can see it happening in the far future that a better coin could grow and take over #1 but I think it's a long way off and don't think any of the current currency coins are contenders. There are possibility that Etherium's price would defeat the price of bitcoin but it cant replace bitcoin. China has no such plan right now as they are not going to introduce any such coin for the couple of years, well because the dominance of bitcoin that is increasing in the digital world is definitely hard to compete with other altcoins, that’s why bitcoin will remain the same for the long time.
