Hard time haven't passed yet so I would recommend you to wait for a couple of week. It would be more safe for your investment.
yups,since as of today prices is really unstable i guess even if the payments of the reward for ico has been distributed but when it comes to the market the price would dump all the way.so better wait for atleast couple of weeks or a month for the market gets stabilized |

There is no time can tell if when is good to invest in any ICO out there. Only you can answer that question everyday there is a new ICO and not all of them is good some failed and some successful. Try to check and study there team bihind and there products and if you are ready then invest that you can afford to lose also.

Any investment is risky.
A good ICO will give you a high return of 5--10 times earnings.
But the good ICO is not easy to find, and there are many ICO prices even lower than the crowdfunding price.
Newbie does not recommend investing in ICO.

There are been a lot of things going on in the ICO field, succesful ICO, unsuccesful ICO, scam ICO, fake ICO, scammer etc. It impacts the ICO very well on the positive and negative side, but for now there are seems to be more on the negative side.
My suggestion to reduce of getting a negative result is to read the project thoroughly, not only the whitepaper, but read the background of all the team, partnership, etc. And then you make the decision. Taking other suggestion is acceptable but still you need to learn about the project.
I have seen someone mentioned VLB, for me it is a great project after i learn it thoroughly, it has a great founder and team, has a lot of great partnerships, and realistic softcap and hardcap. So for me its a yes.

ICO is really a good investment if you do it in a right way. Most of the ICO's are scams as you said and you should do your own research before investing to the project. Normally i go through their company information, whitepaper, team members, Project road map, telegram group and social media channels to get some clear idea. There is a ICO called "Daneel" and that is a very genuine project. I also can recommend and they have partnered with IBM as well. If you like to invest you also can invest with their project. Further ICO ends in 07 days and you can participate during this period with the bonus of 5%.

ICO become more popular now, so i think you have to take a part from this trend. Indeed there are some ICO failed but also some of them given huge profit to the investor. By join in it you will know how to reduce the risk and could be make good strategy to maximize the profit.

I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

Alot of FUD going on with ICOs, alot of it seems to be true as well. Scam Ico's and hacks stealing large supplies of coin/token is just very annoying to deal with, I have a couple ico's im looking out for but really.. most ico's hit the market and drop.. so you can really get them at a good deal if your willing to invest and be patient on the team/product.

Yeah you are right that it is better time to invest in ICOs but to be in better legimate ICOs . Here we can't directly make sure from the whiter paper and roadmap that the ICOs are perfect and legimate but in actual there exists many things to see and analysis and those better analysis make us sure that ICOs are better or not or just they are only made for the scam people . Best thing to find the better ICO is to analyse yourself and if you find that ICO is perfect and looking legimate then make discussion in this forum and also in another forum whether the project is legimate or not and whether we should invest or not . |

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts. The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now. The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster. One thing that I have noticed recently in crypto world is that even in times of big corrections like last month or so, good ICOS are still getting funds and collecting 20 000 and more ETH. My pics for this month was CREDITS ( ended) Debitum network ( 10h left in ICO) https://debitum.network/and Forty seven ( ongoing) https://www.fortyseven.io/I would say that quality ICOS are good investment. |
