Lets hope this wasn't another attack like the one that happened because it would be really sad to see bustabit keep getting attacked and attacked until the bankroll and investors money get emptied.

I don't really get what you mean. Investors have been doing great (I know, I'm one). Looking at a chart, the recent events: March 21 investors lost 126 btc  (which Daniel then fully comp'd back a few days later), March 27: Investors made 117 btc.   April 3rd: Investors lost 84 btc.

For any reasonable time frame, investors have been doing very well. But if a 153 btc loss is concerning, remember that it's only 2.4% of the (virtual) bankroll, it's actually a pretty tiny loss. It easily could one day be x10 that. So if that's troubling, then it means you should probably lower your investment (or offsite).
Oh, I meant like if it is another attack. You can win and lose bitcoin all day and that is fine, I doubt it would make an insane difference to the bankroll, and now we see its actually not an attack however at the time I was talking about how if it is an attack and someone found some loophole then they could just empty the whole hot wallet that way which would probably hurt a lot.

So, I wasn't talking about a legit one wins, no matter how big it could be in the end it would be recovered eventually and it always does but if its a legit win, if it is not then it is always risky for everyone involved. Of course, now we see that (since nothing happened afterwards) it wasn't an attack and just 150+ bitcoin couldn't possibly hurt us so I totally agree, it would require so much more to even make a dent in the bankroll.

Will there ever be other coins? I think bitcoin is definitely the best coin out there so it is loved but I think option for other coins should be implemented eventually. I mean not every single coin, I am not expecting a sudden 50+ coin acceptance from you guys but having the option for at least ethereum would be nice, maybe couple more like litecoin and specially doge which only reason why I am adding is playing with like 5000+ doge is still small money but makes you feel like you are betting a lot and considering the mbtc version of it would be like a million mdoge bet or something Cheesy.

Looking at deposit it always says you are only equipped with accepting bitcoin but considering how amazing you have taken care of every single issue I am certain if you wanted to add other coins you would probably have no problem adding that option since you are great at what you do, will you ever consider it?

Earlier today, an attacker exploited a previously unknown vulnerability in one of bustabit's API methods which allowed him to find out the current game's outcome before its end. By exploiting this bug the attacker managed to win a total of 122.5686 BTC and empty the hot wallet.

Was the bug or the method of exploiting it in any way interesting?

It was a stupid mistake where the API exposed the game bust value before the round ended, if the player was in it.

I won't rule out that bustabit and bustadice will start accepting additional currencies in the future, but I don't have anything specific planned as of yet. Since both casinos are publicly funded by bankroll investors, it's also important to gauge whether there is sufficient investor interest in addition to player interest.

Looking at EtherCrash, it's fairly obvious that there's more than enough investor and player interest in an ETH-based crash game. You should add ETH. Pretty please  Grin

Of course I don't claim that there's no interest at all, but I don't believe it's enough to justify bustabit supporting Ethereum yet.

Bustabit is one of the most original bitcoin betting sites that need. Betting range in this site from low up to 1BTC and it's available to players anywhere in the world. If you want the original crash game then probably nothing is best than bustabit. This site is the fairest site probably in the whole world. Bustabit is top listed and trusted site that you need. But to stay competitive with the other gambling sites out there wouldnt you say adding more then just bitcoin would make more sense to justify in adding more currencies to be used on the site?
Even smaller sites have even added dogecoin as an accepted crypto on their site.
So I cant see it being that hard to give the option in adding just a few of the main altcoins such as ethereum and litecoin.

Diversifying would be the best for the website if they want to stay up there i think they should add altcoins or they will be leftout by other websites, it wouldn't hurt adding it.

Dogecoin has very cheap transaction fees, that is another reason gamblers and dicers like to use Dogecoin for their bets as well as for their withdrawals from gambling sites. The site should add more coins, like Dogecoin and other altcoins that have been widely accepted on gambling sites and chosen coins to add should have cheap transaction fees. Additionally, chosen coins should have fast or acceptable transaction speeds.

Dogecoin won't ever leave the crypto space, it is both a community coin and a very fun one at that. It has been around far longer than most of these "ico" coins that popped up lately and it doesn't have that much market cap but it is still followed much more those coins, people managed to fund nascar car with it, a bobsled team with it and did many more things, its not about the coin itself but the community behind it that really loves to joke around with it.

Nobody that has dogecoin takes it seriously or see it as an investment for the future, they see it as a fun coin that you buy and do silly stuff with and that is the appeal of it. That is why gambling with it is the most fun thing you can do in between those funding things, you can just put 10k doge in a game and if you lose its not a big deal.

Leftout by other websites? bustabit is the main crashgame we have ever known and the rest are just copy-cats but i agree into the point that adding up
some alts wont really be a bad idea yet this would give out more option to its fellow users.Dogecoin is also a good choice and also consider top alts as well.

Adding a currency on bustabit is a bit different since the house is not funded by the site owner, it's investor-funded, and to add a new coin, there'd need to be large interest from investors. I think what would be interesting is a universal depositor that accepts all coins and converts them to bitcoin, the same way EtherCrash and Moon3D does it, and the actual gameplay and withdrawal can stay in bitcoin. That's something worthwhile to consider.

I like gambling. Probably currently trying to figure out how to pay next month's rent.

While I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to review bustabit, it's worth pointing out that this review is very out of date and most of the information it contains is not accurate. For example, bustabit's wager limit is now a percentage of the bankroll (currently about 48 BTC) rather than fixed at 1 BTC.

I don't think we need to go with the exchange route, because than you will have to consider the exchange rates as well, this is a casino not an exchange so using other coins to deposit but than using bitcoin to play and withdraw wouldn't be as good as actually using other coins.

If devans wants to put other coins in as well he can just start to collect the funds first, like let people invest in ethereum for example and after a week he can decide if there are enough ethereum investors to justify the ethereum crash game as well or not, if he decides there is enough interest than he can keep the game going but if he sees that there is not enough interest he can just send everyone money back to them without the game. That option would allow us to see how much people want it or not.

A very considerable thing to be done but all things would still depend on the owner interest itself. If he would just stick out
on accepting Bitcoin on the first place and wont tend or lean to those altcoin options then theres nothing we can do but
seeing this

Of course I don't claim that there's no interest at all, but I don't believe it's enough to justify bustabit supporting Ethereum yet.

Do signifies that this isnt the right time.So we should wait up.

It's been three years I guess since the last time that played in bustabit and I wonder if they are still giving free satoshi because that is what I remember from them before. by the way this was one of my favorite gambling platform when I was just finding a way to get bitcoin, it's really fun to play with BaB but sadly to say I am no longer dealing with gambling but it seems the platform is still become more popular and that's really great. keep it up.

Any chance for having a panel or licences for running our own website?

There's an open-source version that's available: https://github.com/kungfuant/  (look for 'bustabit-gameserver' and 'webserver')  which you can use free of charge if you comply with the license.

Or if you want to pay, you can talk to daniel@bustabit.com  who sells licensed (bustabit.com/license.txt)  versions which is a bit more updated than the opensource version and comes without restrictions.
