Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.
I always read the whitepaper on the project I support. because whitepapper is very important and needed to be able to understand the project. although reading whitepapper is very difficult but we must take the essence of the whitepapper so that it can be an understanding for us.
Yes, I also done reading white papers and so today. Because of these what we called white papers we know the background, the story of the ICOs you are joining at, and at the same time you know what your going to campaign. And above all, this white papers are very useful to every ICOs.

Before I invest my hard earned cash, I always read the whitepaper and flashy website is not enough.

But looking at the Telegram channels for many ICO's it is clear that a lot of people don't read them.

Not to sound racist or anything, but it is my experience that it is typically people from India or similar countries, that fail it read the most basic things such as websites or whitepapers, before they start asking questions. I guess it might be some sort of culture thing.

I'm always reading the white paper for three reasons, that is to check is the campaign is legit. Second, to understand and to know the what-abouts of the ICO I'm going to join in and to answer the questions about it. Lastly, to check if it will be successful or worth of joining in. I believe, we all want to gain money and we want a secured profit in the future. As a user, we all have the rights to know and the white paper is the answer to that.

The amount of people here that don't read whitepapers for the project they invest in is astonishing. Further evidence this is a bubble in its current state.

Yes, I do read the white paper of the project I am interested to invest. Unfortunately, there is no short cut but it is worth the efforts.

It was interesting to read white paper even few months ago, so yes i read some and found some good concept but unfortunately these days people just out source the whitepaper, without any proper plan or future vision. Most of the whitepaper written now are junk and useless. So now i usually don't bother.

To be honest i never really read the whole whitepaper because i'm too lazy to read, it's just spend my time. I only read the important points that i need to make sure the project is good and profitable if I invest in the project, but I also often rely on instinct in decide to invest, and so far some of the projects that i invested didn't disappointed me.

I usually ask a question in announcement thread that explain their white paper in one paragraph in layman's term. If they cannot answer it,  I leave it and find a good one.

Whitepapers are a good way to know if one campaign is good enough to be sponsored or something to be invested on. Whitepapers are the abstract of the platforms that we are campaigning about. Without knowing their platforms and programs, we are just wasting our time campaigning for something we do not even know. You can usually ask questions about the Whitepaper because this is where you can see if they really made the Whitepaper or just gotten it from somewhere else. The whitepaper usually talks about the platforms roadmap and in this roadmap you can see how long they are planning to prolong the events they have.

Well I do read a lot of white papers for me to determine whether a project is reliable and has a potential to reach its goals. In the white paper we can see the main goal and the things that the team would love to achieve. My advice to you my friend is to create a matrix or a checklist of the things you want to see in a detailed white paper before evaluating it whether it is an amazing project or not.

I do not think we can read all the whitepapers in the world before investing. We have to be selective in what we read.

We must have a filter or rule-of-thumb so that we can eliminate those ICO that are not promising and just read the whitepapers of ICO

that we have shortlisted.

I do this by looking at the team and their advisors' profiles, the business case presented on the website and I like a small hardcap.

I will shortlist based on this quick and dirty filter and then I will read those few shortlisted whitepapers.

This saves me a lot of time from being wasted reading sub-par whitepaper.

When choosing ICO, there are many factors that should be taken into account and each person has his own criteria. If you do not want to read, the forums have feedback on this or that ICO, if you trust someone else's opinion, you can do so.

Ofcourse. In oder to know more about a certain project and to avoid asking uneccesary and already answered questions. Reading also helps users to avoid scam, furthermore, it can also help us gain knowledge.

Well, at first, I find it very tiring to actually read the whole whitepaper but as I started to question a project I always tend to look for the part that is needed to be read and eventually started to read the whole thing.

I do read white paper whenever I find interesting and unique project. Many interesting project that have finished it's ICO is still under the radar and many people that participated in many quality ICO do not read their white paper, this is evident on their comment regarding these ICO. They always asking for exchange instead of asking about the development of their respective projects!

I always read official documents. How can you invest in a project of which you do not know anything. Do you want to throw away your money? I do not want.
