Look for coins or token that are used for real life case.

I just found this token UNETOQUE (UNTQ) to work for real life case. They allow you to register 20 domains name for free with free renewals for life.

Here's the thread.

You must pick one of sample ico, find and learn about that whitepaper, project and team behind the ico. Maybe help you to choose a good ico.

Personally I do not like ICOs. The reason is that I like graphs and data and look at data; ICOs provide very little of this. So I only invest when they are established somewhat. Maybe I am losing out, but better safe than sorry.

I usually read the forum. If I like any project, I start to study it, I look at the project rating on the icobench, I study the documentation. There is nothing complicated, but one can not always guess with a choice.

With a good experience active team behind, good whitepaper, good roadmap, nice marketing strategies and feedbacks from the investors. I can say that its a good characteristic of a good ICOs. There are only few good ico so you have to choose very carefully.

Rightnow, there are too many icos and some of this are scam and some are not.
So before joining ico you should check it first before joining by doing some research and reading all the information about that ico like its white paper, road map and etc. Try also to join in a ico that is being managed by a trusted manager or dev. This is are the things you have to consider in finding good icos, i hope this will help you, good luck.

There are currently very few good ICO. most ico is scam. There are several ways to test an ico looking for information on development teams and investors. read roadmap and white paper. It is important for you to evaluate 1 ico

investing in ICO is one of the best way to earn money. However, to choose a right project is not easy. reading whitepaper, contact with team are some ways to check the quality of the project. Hope that you can find a good token to buy

How do you find good icos?
or do you think icos are not a good opportunity?

Here in this forum of course if an Ico does not have a thread here, I doubt they are hiding something because member of this forum can analyze coming ICO, of course Ico are a good investment because they offer bonus plus you'll going to get them at a much cheaper price, but it only goes for a good ICO, so do your research.

I agree with you, no one should trust this guy he is a paid shill, if you give him a lot of tokens then he will pump it up for you by telling his followers to buy it. But of course John McAfee and his inner circle probably bought it before everyone else so they can dump on you. I don't trust him and will not invest in everything he promote.
There is a good telegram channel for ICO it's called top 7 ICO

There are good ICO's but most of them are scams. Look at the technology behind it and if there's real use cases, check the team behind it, check the whitepaper and roadmap. Always DYOR and invest what you can afford to lose.

How do you find good icos?
I'm looking for ICO's who have a decent team, compose of people who are knowledgeable on the project they are working with. And this is what I found with VLB and you can take this tip from their advisor.
You look at alot of the projects out there and I can see where you would feel like its a lottery, but take the time to look at the projects I have been involved in. Most of the projects I have ran a marketing campaign for have been fairly successful and I don't feel like anyone has lost money following the projects I have been involved in.

I cannot guarantee you'll make money in following the projects I am involved in, and i'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying I have chosen to work with some solid teams. Iconomi, DCORP, Suncontract, Jibrel, Quantum, Dimcoin, Xaurum, and more.  All have shown users a profit.

Now I am involved with the VLB.io and feel like it has a chance at a large success as well. They did an ICO last year and found the caps were too high after the 1st week, so they halted the ICO and issued a full refund to all investors. Now they are back with more realistic goals and if you have belief in ICOs, you should look into this project.    Here is a link to the project if anyone is interested in learning more. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2863598.0
VLB is a real promising ICO that has a very low soft and hard cap so that's a reachable one that can make the project's ICO successful.
or do you think icos are not a good opportunity?
If you landed to the wrong ICO, it's a very bad opportunity and that's why I'm giving you one of the best now.

You should follow interesting projects and build relationships to crypto influencers.

Pro tip: You won't find the gems on ico directory websites.

in general I also have not been able to choose a good ico and not accurately, but I only do a few small studies before investing in ICO and among them is check their website, see the team, and read the whitepaper and predict the public response to the ICO .

read and understand the announcement thread, see whitepaper, see the team members, see the amount of allocation, ico duration, roadmap and product.
usually if ico has a good roadmap will be many investors who will invest there, if many investors then ico will succeed.
