Just to make it clear
We started accepting December delivery orders from 15-th of November and quantity was sold out around 12-th of December.
So order placed on 1-st of December is not early December shipment order

Can you test it with btcguild?
Have you overlock the miner per pencil mod? If the miner got to high voltage it has the same effect.

Just unpacked and connected. No modification at all.
I'll test it with btcguild and report asap.

thanks

Have your board an dc connector or an 4-Pin Molex connecter? Please post us also the data of your power supply.

You may also get a pop-up asking for username/password to get access to web interface. That can be disabled by typing "user *" in the terminal window.

Happy with your c-scape product ? Consider a tip: 16X2FWVRz6UzPWsu4WjKBMJatR7UvyKzcy

no luck with btcguild.

Board has a dc connector, PSU is a thermaltake PurePower TWV480 (actually, 80 watt used)

Quick question, are the fans on these boards 80mm?  I`m going to replace them to help airflow.

Thanks

The original fan is a 90mm. But if you want to optimize cooling you should make a case. You can use cardboard to make your own cheap case.
Put a 120mm fan on left site, form the cardboard around the fan and put the shash board in.
Use a fan with more than 200m³/h.
Its the better choice because you are cooling the dc converter, too.

I want to show him how he can trink a simple, cheap and efficient case for his miner.
This case isn't cheap or efficient...

I had trink one especially for you in 3 min to show how easy it is:

Data and temps:
fan = 120mm ~280m³/h 12V
room temp = ~17,35 °C
dc converter = max. ~49,78 °C
board chip side = max. ~27,48 °C
board bottom side = max. ~ 28,88 °C

Are you thinking about a cable (lack of Ampere) issue?

Of course, you can see all the wires from the molex going to the connection, but only one black and one yellow are forwarded to connector.

Yes i think its a problem of the current supply.
Are you sure you have connected the cable right and didn't invert plus and minus? Inner terminal should be positiv and outer negativ.
I hope the other 2 cables aren't (black, red) leaky!?
Have you possibility to solder the 2 cables (yellow, black) from the 4 Pin-molex connector directly to the board?

the other 2 cables have been sealed with tape. Polarity should be ok (web interface ok, serial interface ok, air direction of fan correct).

I would solder the 2 cables to the board directly, but only if this does not cause problems in sending it back, if after that we prove that it's faulty.

marto74, what do you say?

Dear, firends,
We shipped out today most of early December Hex16a2 (c) and Hex16b orders.
Unfortunately we were not able to shipout all of the December orders yet.
We'll continue shipping on 30-th of December , but most probably there still be some late December orders that will be left for shipping in the 1-st week of January.
Hex16A ( avalon gen1) We did send out part of the last batch orders. There are some orders that will be out in the 1-st week of January too.
Nanofuries We send some orders today  and due to some production delays , there are still orders that are late.
We are scheduling production in the first days of January
All customers with faulty units Just return them to sending addres and We'll send you replacement/repaired unit .
All DPD sendings can be tracked in our Local representative's page here http://www.speedy.bg/begin.php?page=web_Tracking&lang=en

Wishing you Happy new year.
Technobit team

HNY all,

I soldered the 2 cables directly on the board, paying attention to polarity.
Song didn't change, here's what written on console (usb cable)

You have to activate DHCP or use a static IP. Easiest way is to use dchp. Type "dhcp on" in terminal, set your miner datas in the webinterface and report again please.
