then it starts over from the beginning.

Any other idea accepted...

You have to activate DHCP or use a static IP. Easiest way is to use dchp. Type "dhcp on" in terminal, set your miner datas in the webinterface and report again please.

it has a static ip address.
You can see, the log says it connects to the pool, gets the difficulty and the requests for mining.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Hi Lancelot, yes i see the miner was connect to any pool but then it was waiting for an ip. Maybe there is a problem with dns or your ip settings.
If you want I can have a look at your miner per teamviewer.

I am sorry to write this, but I have been scammed by technobit.

I made order of 6 Nanofury day 30/09/2013 and the bank wire day 03/10/2013.

The status of my order is as "Awaiting bank wire payment" 06/01/2014

3 months have passed and the only reply from my emails to a technobit been "HI
I'll check tommorrow"

I take my money lost with this, I just want to warn other users of this forum to beware of this company.

Order:

@marto74

via teamspeak acidfox and me did a lot of tests with the s-hash 40 ghs, and the result is that it's not working at all.
In the past posts you can see all the story. I've also unsoldered the fan and connected it directly in order to undestand if it was draining too many power from the device.
I've also discovered that the device is making a strange sound, like a tiny crackling while powered on.

As said, it powers on, it connects to the pool it has a working webgui and a working console, but it's not warming up chips, and it's not mining.

As I've already sent back a nanofury (1 out of 9 to be honest) and I still have no news about it, I would like to know how to deal with this problem asap, since It has been a lot of time since the order and i would like to get rid quickly of this issue (and the other with the nanofury too) and start mining before the end of this year..

thank you

1 HEX16B will be fine. I have to ask if you can send the device concurrently with this I'm sending back, just to regain a couple of days.

I'll send all the related order information about the faulty one via pm or email.

Please let me know.

thank you again.

I am having some issues with only being able to connect my miners to a few servers. For some reason they will not connect to certain servers. Such as multipools, ispace and others.

I can connect to BTCGuild and lukes.

Anyone else ever have issues with not being able to connect ?

I have updated to the latest firmware with no improvement.

Is this the only interface that we can use to control our miners or is there a way to use something else ?

They probably use unsupported stratum commands. If you hook up USB debug cable, the firmware should tell you if it receives something it doesn't understand. Depending on what it is, I may be able to add it.

It would have been nice if the most widely used bitcoin mining protocol had a specification...

I have had it hooked up and it just seems to hang right before it attempts to join a pool. No pool info or anything is displayed. It just gets to the part where it displays my local IP,s and does not add the pool IP info. Whereas when I join a pool that I can join it just connects no problem.

Another thing I have noticed is that when I tried to join one today it kept adding my user name to the end of the server URL in the web interface after I would hit the set pools button.

This is kind of annoying as I really want to mine some alt coins but I cannot join the servers that I would like to.

Can you show exactly what's happening ? The firmware does not do anything with the URL, so I have no idea what's going on.

Sure. Where would I find the log ?

Here is a screen shot of the problem with my user name being added to the URL after I submit.

Hi Cscape,

Quick question.

I`ve just tried to connect to Eligius (stratum server 3334) and the boards run for a minute or two then reset.  Is there any work around?

Thanks

I assume this is what you mean.

Code:
PHY ID 20005c90 MAC 023e
mac: 78-dd-d6-24-02-3e

S-HASH
switching to pool 0
initializing bitfury
chip init 0
chip init 1
chip init 2
chip init 3
chip init 4
chip init 5
chip init 6
chip init 7
chip init 8
chip web server on pos-hash > rt 80
init 9
chip init 10
chip init 11
chip init 12
chip init 13
chip init 14
chip init 15
init DHCP
DHCP ready 1
init dns
Hostname shash023e.local
Full duplex 100 Mbps
dhcp: sending DHCPDISCOVER
dhcp: address 192.168.1.12 mask 255.255.255.0 bcast 0.0.0.0 router 192.168.1.1 nameserver 192.168.1.1

That is as far as it will get.

No there isn't a workaround.
Only thing you can do is to set Eligius to first pool and another pool as failover.
The miner will switch between the 2 pools some times.

Has my order been shipped?
If so, what is the tracking information?
If not, when will it be shipped?
