I think that Facebook's action to oppose bitcoin is only a moment because of the rampant scam project. Possibility to overcome the slope of a scam project. Everything will be fine, the more sophisticated tools and great thinking will be found in the role of bitcoin and blockchain.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

It think it will be temporary only cause at that moment, there is a lot of people got scammed in facebook and maybe after a lot of people already report to facebook and then facebook banned the advertisment about cryptorcurrency in the facebook. Its same like google did too. They banned the cryptocurrency advertisement too and now they are not. I think if some regulations already out especially for ICO, i think facebook will open the advertisement for cryptocurrency again.

Facebook and Google announced to ban Crypto (include Bitcoin) but I still find many ads related to Crypto in the platform.
They are lying us!

Read the news carefully. In the beginning, they banned all cryptocurrency advertising in general. Then partially resolved.

I heard that this social network is going to create its own coin. I think Facebook is loyal to cryptocurrency. And this is very good, because thanks to this cryptocurrency will become more popular.

Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency
The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies.
Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?
both facebook leader and the vitcoin leaders are great man and i think taht they know what tjey are doi g right now

They are really not against bitcoin if not you would have see a massive shut down of the crypto pages on the site, they are just trying to protect their rep and their customers with the bans so they do not get scammed. Honestly I would not be surprised if at some point facebook ends up coming out  with their own cryptocurrency so they can compete.

I don't think if Facebook is fighting bitcoin, when the news about Facebook prohibits ico ads, my social media bounty activity keeps on going, and the Facebook that I use is still safe, I think the problem here is reposting from ico's Facebook page too much, page facebook ico that I followed, I only reposted 1 time per day, more than 3 reposts, indeed I was a little worried about being suspended

Facebook is not going to be successful at winning against Bitcoin because they wouldn't be able to launch their own cryptocurrency.

Like many social media, facebook prohibits advertising regarding the ICOs, as they see it as high-risk investments, so they want to wash their hands simply by eliminating the advertising of the ICOs, now they have become a little flexible, but it is up to the community to pressure so that we can get informed freely.

Bitcoin is not offended or affected by what Facebook tried to do to it. Crypto bounties went forward, so the the information is not intriguing lol.

This news is already old and i think Facebook and Google had already lifted it's ban on cryptocurrency related ads. In my opinion that move by them were not successful and it only made them lose some revenues.

Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.

In General, we will not see anything serious, most likely it will be an ordinary dollar. It's good if a lot of people are not deceived.
