Sometimes, it seems you all think the market is static... Mining different difficulty, rejection rates, market value and market depth coins is all extremely complex and dynamic. Yet, every other post is complaining about how a certain BTC per hash-rate per day is either too low or too high. I don't get it. There was user here who had exactly the same hash-rate on middlecoin has he had on hashcows, and his findings where comparable as multicoin auto-trade pool performance, which is what most of us want: to maximize our profits.

This Friday, I am hosting a pool party @ Hashco.ws.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=476071.new#new

Come join the chat!

The admins have done a satisfactory job so far, and while we may all have our little issues they have have shown themselves to be reliable enough for me to trust doing business with at this point post hack.

I have seen marked increases in my payouts, and the decrease as of late is due to nothing more than another epic tank of the alt market post Doge having. This pool has been mining all the top coins that still hover in the "75-90 days for 1 btc per mh/s" range. Doge right now is at about 110 days. Many coins are at 180 days+.

EDIT: What would people think of a chat panel on the website? I think it would be nice.

Let me know if I am doing something right. Smiley

Supporters of this pool, if you could help post your take on how hashcows is now, how the admins handles issues, and what your payouts have been like over time @ my pool party thread linked above. It would be highly appreciated.

Essentially, this Friday I am trying to get people to turn their machines to hashcows for the weekend who may otherwise not for whatever reason in order to show everyone that they should once again be deserving of trust and that they can have confidence they will be paid decent numbers. I haven't seen any real indication to the contrary at this point nearly 2 months post-hack.

Can you help me boost the hashrate for this weekend and see what it does for payouts and the health of the pool?

Let me know if I am doing something right. Smiley

It is mining leaf at present, the difficulty is 38 and price is 8 satosh, how can profitability to be 209?

For 30MH/s, the revenue is $98, below LTC, which is $148, whose profitability is 48 according to coinchoose.

Seems the only thing discussed here now is "is this fucked up" or "is that fucked up?"

No community.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but my miners are still pointed at Hashcows and have been before, during and after the attack. I think there is some reticence to 'having a party' as things aren't really all that awesome. As we move into the last week of February I'm probably not alone in having the expectation that the ledger should have been updated by now as it would be good for people like me who did lose coins to be able to see how much was lost and how much was generously paid back by the pool ops. There's the other broader and perhaps more important aspect to the ledger not being fixed is that on a day-to-day basis we cannot really see what is going with the account and track earnings over time.

It could also be purely perception but it does seem that earnings are trending down (which may be entirely market driven) and it appears that many of the older members of this community have either left or are far quieter on this forum as they either don't want to add to the voices asking for functionality updates, they've perhaps lost some faith in the direction of the pool or they're in a 'wait and see' holding pattern.

Reading between the lines, I do think functionality will not only be restored but also improved as I personally have great confidence in the pool ops and have a lot of respect for the way they have handled the challenges, many of which I'd suspect are still ongoing and I don't think we should underestimate the learning curve and amount of work that is being undertaken.

All things have an ebb and flow and just as with the BTC price being weak right now, the exuberance and shouts of "Too the Moon!" have died down so I think the pool is in a quiet time and perhaps that not many people are up for a party at the moment, so I wouldn't take it personally as it's easy to be buoyant when prices are up, less so when prices are down.

Just my observations, I'm sure other people have their own thoughts.

Nice take. I agree. I have personally noticed epic payouts in comparison to other pools, but since I have no chart, I could not back up my story that things are great on that front... This has been down-trending, but less so than what I hear about other pools.

___

Also, about us mining EAC. It's about to crash from all the switching pool activity, it would rock if we left it alone for a bit.

So pool party is up. Might have to hold another when the ledger is fixed, I just didn't have the actually data I needed to prove to random internet people how great my profits have been without it. At least some are coming to swim. Smiley

Here is the thread once more. Please come chat.

Hi!

I'm new here in HC: registered like a month ago used it a few hours but i returned last night.

My question is why I can't see any change in my balance. My 2.9MH is working on the pool for 12 hours and no change in balance.

Why is that?

Anyone else not getting their payouts?  I made a BTC request almost 9 hours ago.  Or is BTC just paid once per day?
