I think I need to say something to clear things up a bit

I have mined everyday day on middlecoin until 2 weeks ago where middlecoin have server issue so I switch to mine in hashcow, I only got 1.3 MH after mining for 24 hour all I got was 0.002 bitcoin

supposingly I am expecting to see 0.01 bitcoin, not 0.002 so I gave up on hashcow not bother to withdraw the balance and go to mine on other server

I login everyday to check if the balance increase since it might be admin haven sold off those coin

after 7 days, finally the balance increase to 0.015 bitcoin

So what I wanna say is, if you mine for 24 hour or 3 days you wont know your actual balance yet because the admin haven sold those coin, you need to wait for 7 days for it to fully reflect
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Yeah, so disconnects are still there.
I'm going to move away for a while and wait for a dedicated EU server or something, i'll follow the thread and return once i see some improvements.

3 days average per equal hashpower spread across 2 pools:

Hashcows: 32 shares / minute
Competitor#1: 52 shares / minute

Shares / minute seems like a rather useless metric....  The current stratum server is in the EU fyi.

Happy mining  Smiley

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

If different pools are mining different coins, with different difficulties, isn't the shares/min completely unrelated?

How many shares you get per minute is going to be different depending on what coin is being mined.  A coin with a lower difficulty will net you more shares than a coin with higher difficulty.  So comparing pools with that stat is useless unless you can see definitively that both pools are mining the same coin.

@nearmiss
I can't login to hascows anymore, when I press login  nothing happens. How can I fix this? Looking at it with firebug, seems like some javascript is missing.

I just logged out and back in with no problems. Check if you have an overprotective browser plugin and maybe open an exception for the hashcows website?

Oh yeah, MoDu, snap at the beginner Smiley

Is this deflecting of the disconnects issue going to make it go away ?

I get it that s/m is a useless stat, but tell me, averaging out the disconnects into a plot with 5 minutes round-up, why do i get +100 kh/s since i move to another pool (10.03, around 15:00 hours on the graph) ?

Then don't make false statements if you don't know something, if you'd asked I' answer gladly.

I have no information regarding slower hashrate on hashcows.

Like an idiot I gave this pool another try, mining since March 8th with 3.6 mh/s and balance is .01.  Finally giving up on this ridiculous scam pool once and for all.

Ain't nobody makin' no money right now. Cry   I switched over to Clever for a few minutes, but then saw that they are reporting a current (last 12 hours) rate of .00452/MH/day

Man the alt-coin world sucks.  We need some big movement on BTC/alt-coins, some sort of world-shaker.

I think it may have something to do with all this scrypt power being added.

Lots of rigs being built/ASIC's coming online.

I agree with everyone above that BTC/MH/day has dropped dramatically the last 2 months
it all has to do with all of us just mining and dumping the coins
even the pool we are in is the main selling point it has that you get paid in BTC

but think about it

The time between the decision to MINE a coin and to actually trade the coin for good BTC/MH/Day
is such that its against us since everyone is doing the same

There is a lag in between to actually mine the blocks  and letting the coins mature
and sending them to the exchange and hope in the mean time that the price of the coins has not dropped

the price drops naturally with pump and dump coins
everyone just wants BTC's in their wallets so
their is more supply than actual demand

My advice is to disable autotrade on all or some coins that you believe in them
and hope that they will go up in the future

also the drop in price of bitcoin in the last 3 months has made everyone less optimistic about any altcoin in general and hence the pump and dump

I don't blame anyone on this I used to do this but now instead I am focusing on coins that have some new proposition or some new algorithm and I always try to only sell about 30% of my mined coins and keep the rest for future exchange

anyway that is just my .02$

PS
There is a new coin in the settings PRO but I think it should be PCN  is n't this one ?

In all honesty this pool is almost the perfect front to steal a bevy of coins from people.

Comical allegation from a user with almost zero reputation on this forum.

Enjoy mining elsewhere, I'm sure you'll be sadly missed.  Roll Eyes
