• PoW Algorithm = Scrypt
• Max Coins = 1,000,000,000
• Block Time = 60 Seconds
• Block Reward =  Starts at 1,000, and reduces by 5% every 30 days (one period).  At the start of period 75 maximum reward per month stays at 1 million indefinitely (23 coins per block).
• Difficulty Retarget = Every half hour (30 blocks)
• Premine = 2% in public ledger and all going to the ProCoin community

At least one million for giveaways will go into its own address for launch and hand outs will range from 100 to 10,000, so basically it will be spread out over a few hundred people.  I'll include details about that in the first post on launch.  And then the other 19 million will be rewards for marketing/development help.

Yes, we're getting pools on board now and I'll add them to the first post (and the website) as soon as they're in place.

And if anyone wants to mine from the first day but doesn't have a strong set up in place, searching eBay for "scrypt mining" gives you a number of options.  Average price seems to be around $10 for 24 hours of 1250 k/Hash mining.

I really agree about making a difference.  Initially we'll do everything we can to stand out in the market through a major marketing push in March and April.  Then after that as well as ongoing marketing we'll be looking to continuously develop the coin to keep it up to date with what's happening in the market.

All of the premine is going to the community from a public ledger.  Most of it will be given away in gifts and rewards in March and April of 2014.

They'll be a significant marketing push and ongoing development to help the coin gain traction and grow long term.  I'm not interested in starting and spending time/money on a coin that has a short life span and that doesn't benefit investors/miners long term.
