Any ideas what to buy now and keep for longer?

You can buy BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, WAVE, ....
I once read an article of reddit about one person from the future and they came back to the past about the development of bitcoin, it would reach $ 50,000 by 2020 and then keep on rising. I'm not sure but what they said since the BTC started and now everything is correct! Of course BTC is always the first choice to buy and hold long.

Bitcoin of course. Don't underestimate the King of crypto. Better techs will come up and go, but the brand name of Bitcoin will be eternal.

Some market analysts says that Bitcoin is in a bubble and the big crash is just a matter of time. A "Flippening" is certainly will happen and it will paved the way for Ethereum to become the number 1 cryptocurrency. If bitcoin does crash and it's bubble burst, we can expect that much of the money previously invested in Bitcoin would simply be re-invested to Ethereum and other Cryptos. Always grab the opportunity that bitcoin price is still in dip. The mother of all cryptos prove its best in long term investment. Bitcoin price maybe volatile but always finds its way to went up higher more than everyone's imagination ang confident enough not to crash.

Top 20 is too risky ,the coins today in first page of cmc might not be tomorrow at the same place. I believe that top 3 coins are most secure coins to store your savings.

Yeah bitcoin and ethereum are long term investment coins as they are already proven a good digital currencies that can bounce back once the price go on downfall and this are the most popular coins. You should have a good wallet to secure your coins if your doing a long term investments as we can't be sure because many had reported about lost coins at their wallet.

I still enjoy to buy and hold bitcoin and ethereum. These coins don't raise too much but they also don't drop that much after market crash. On the other hand I prefer to play with coins under 200 rank in coinmarketcap.
