I started my order on Blackarrow, I was going to wire transfer from the US. If I am reading the above posts correctly I can not do this?

If I can not, what do I need to do to move my order to minesource?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

A lot of people have wired from the U.S. (not I) but it takes BA several days for them to clear the payment and change the order status, all the transfer info is on the BA site and would be sent to your inbox a soon as you submit the order. You could just cancel or abandon the BA order as it will be deleted automatically if you don't pay and update the ticket in 7 days. To order with minersource you need to wait a bit until they get the site fixed up,they seem to working on it now and they do accept wire transfers but you may need to email Bobsag3 for the info.

Hey     bobsag3

Based on the PM i sent you should i just re order ? Just trying to get an answer as its already been 10 days from when i messaged for my order (Which now has canceled its self probably because i never got a response) and nobody from your company or you have responded yet to me, and the phone number listed for your site on the black arrow site does not work. Please help i need to decided if i am buying this after all or not or what is even going on in my order. I also had a little scare when u said batch 1 was sold out, i honestly felt a little cheated for a moment due to not being helped and having my order terminated involuntarily.

You may want to check the dates on the new site it refers to orders placed Dec/12/ 2012 should it not be 2013 Wink

I have asked Black Arrow to update the reseller page with the new contact information, no idea why they have not done so yet.
Can you email me @ mininghosting@gmail with your old order number, and I will look into it.

We're on track for Feb, absolutely.

As for the specifics of batch 1, we're figuring out exactly where we stand and how much more room we have. We're going to have more detailed information in the next 24-48 hours when we hear back from our engineers. I'm sorry I don't have the answers yet.

I ordered two X-3s, order number 2801. I sent bank wire. Hoping that i am in batch 1 Cheesy

If I can not, what do I need to do to move my order to minesource?

Leave the BA order and simply file one with MS, Bob can fix it for ya.

Your not in queue until you pay.

Hi Bobsag,

I placed an order for 2 X-3s yesterday at BA.com/store, but I don't have a payment address yet for my BTC.  We'll see if they get back to me.  If not, should I just cancel the order and place it through you?  What is the deal with the 50% down split?  Is it over?  Does that have to be directly done through BA?

Thanks for the help!

I have a bunch of these on order and want to make sure I have all the right stuff to get them to run...
I noticed on BA website that they will come with their own power supply, so I do not have to worry about that apart from a power strip or two.
I have been looking and found this switch to plug them all into...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BU0EKW/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B003BU0EKW&linkCode=as2&tag=pck01-20
Will the 24 port version of that be good for these?  I should be able to plug and play correct?  Also does anyone know how I would make or obtain a wireless switch?  I would prefer to not have to set these up near my router, and a wireless switch or a way to make that wireless easily would be great!
Also, I assume they do not, but does anyone know if these come with Ethernet cables?  If I am going to order a switch I would like to just get everything at once.  Any Ethernet cable should work correct?

Thanks to any answers or help in advance!

DebitMe

Thats more switch than you need... most of my hosting is powered from Dell 8 port 10/100 fibre switches, but thats because ebay is cheap.

You don't really need a gigabit switch, 100Mbps would be just fine. The switch is unmanaged, so it should just be plug and play. The cables you will need are ethernet patch cables.
Also you should consider power usage when shopping for a power strip. You might not be able to run more than 1 or 2 on a single circuit.

The 24 port switch is for expansion purposes in the future.  But by the sounds of your comments it should be fine.  I am unsure what Ethernet patch cables are, time for some google research, lol.

The X-1's only use 50 watts of power so I should be able to get a bunch of them per single circuit, unless I am missing something?
You'll be fine with X-1's. I wasn't sure if you were running X-3's or X-1's.

I'm in the process of looking for a better switch, Also into bringing in a second Internet provider as a buackup. but this may seem more difficult than what I would save.

Does anyone make a switch able to pull from two Modems? using both or one as backup? Or would we be talking thousands in investment Smiley

Also looking to buy a 10-20kW Propane generator Wink

No,

Why the X-1, X-3 come's enclosed, saves you wire management.
Although I gather the x-1 is simply a case with 20 x-1's? But not sure what's done internally.

I think I will get 1 or 2 x-3's, but mostly x-1's for me.

I looked up Ethernet patch cables, is there a difference between an Ethernet cable and an Ethernet patch cable?
Most Ethernet cables are patch cables. If it doesn't say crossover cable, its a patch cable.

This 24-port TP-link switch recognizes and handles both cable types automatically.
