Call me crazy, but i feel lucky i might get something delivered at last.

According to BA the X-1.5 runs 160 GH/S on 100W. If that's true i'll be looking at them for at least a couple of months (i don't have very expensive electricity).

You're crazy if you think they'll meet those specs.

Package is now 5 miles from my place at a FedEx sorting centre.
Due to BlackArrow choosing economy shipment, FedEx will keep it there till January 7th before delivering...
I received the package, two boxes in one box. I unpacked one, it contained an X3.
Turned it on, configured it and it works, alas 9 months too late.
I switched it off again. (According to https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty it produces us$0.15 an hour, 1kWh cost around us$0.30 here in Holland)
Now waiting for the VAT invoice from FedEx, will be another us$165 (in Euro's) down the drain.
Some pictures:

The machine itself:

The web interface, using almost 1W per GH/s(I started selling OneStringMiner boards 9 months ago that use at least 20% less).
And notice the errors after running for just a couple of minutes:

The manual, notice the lousy images, too dark, hardly readable:

I also made a short five seconds movie to record the loud noise, but for whatever reason there is only static, so I am not posting it.

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

It looks like it's running a bit hot.  Does the interface have a way to easily underclock the miner?  What rate and efficiency does it get with the maximum underclock?

In attention to all Minersource customers:

Matt Carson from Minersource has managed to convince our customer support department that we owe them 250 X3 miners. Our customer support did not check if they are paid and partially shipped this order (137 miners were dispatched). These miners were NOT paid and upon confrontation with Matt Carson all communication went blank.

It has been 2 months since the event and we now assume that Minersource has no intetion of paying the X3 miners that we have delivered. As it stands at the moment we are beginning legal procedures against Minersource in USA.

All customers who have ordered from Minersource and had not yet received their order should begin legal procedures against them as they will not receive anything else from Minersource.

Do you have contact details for minersource?

Whats happened to minersource.net?  why are they not updating or handling this?  I still get spammed weekly with their latest miners that are apparently shipping yet my order from over a year ago, nothing!

What is their involvement with Black Arrow and are they part of the scam?   If so how is it they are still in business?  has anyone received their BA order or a refund/store credit from minersource?

I logged into my minersource account today and its says my order was fulfilled 2 months ago, but i did not get notified at the time it was marked fulfilled and have not received anything from them yet.  Theres also no tracking ID provided on their site so no way to verify if anything was sent or not.   has any other minersource customers had this happen to them? Undecided

I ordered in the UK and paid december last year on the 18th and have just received our miner source order of an X3 on the 7/01.

I did not receive any shipping/tracking details but it was received via DHL and had a notification from them when it was to be delivered, the minor source website did have shipped as the status.

However there are no LCD screens so iv'e received an incomplete product and need to email them about it.

so "fulfilled" means it has not been shipped then?  Huh

In attention to all Black Arrow customers:

Alex Sovu from Black Arrow has managed to convince their customer support department that they do not owe me a refund for 3 X1 miners. Their customer support did not check that the refund had been approved and refused to refund instead. The refund was NOT made and upon confrontation with Black Arrow all communication went blank.

It has been 6 months since the event and I now assume that Black Arrow has no intention of making the refund it promised. As it stands at the moment I am beginning legal procedures against Black Arrow in Hong Kong.

All customers who have been promised refunds from Black Arrow and not yet received them should begin legal procedures against them as they will not receive any refunds from Black Arrow.

I have switched it off again after a few minutes.
I will try to answer your question later.

I have underclocked it to 800Mhz (from 1000Mhz). It uses around 1W / GH/s and produces ~800GH/s.
Switched it off again.

They don't adjust voltage, so they're 1 J/GH at all clockspeeds. Noise-wise they're quite loud.

The only options available on the web interface are 800/1000/1100/1200Mhz.
The higher I put it, the more errors I see.

Don't expect a review, they are not worth the effort anymore.
A X3 produces ~us$1.8 a day at current difficulty while using ~20kWh (@230V) of electricity per day at the lowest offered speed.

BTW, the VAT invoice also came in, another us$200 down the drain.

The 800/1000/1100/1200Mhz setting seems to be the speed of the controller, not the hash boards.
I've not seen inside an X3, but the X1 uses a Rockchip RK3186 SoC, and these speeds match.

So I'd hope there was some better way to increase efficiency of the hashing chips.
