PLEASE BE AWARE https://altex.exchange/ IS A PHISING SITE DO NOT USE OR RISK LOSING YOUR COINS....Mark

I admit that it's a pretty shady looking exchange, but it seems to work/isn't a phishing site. Do you have any proof?

remote node for those who want to sync faster

./monerov-wallet-cli --daemon-address 5.199.161.136:9538

thanks ! and what is the difference between local node and remote node? Will it be enough to sync with remote node to send my XMV to exchange ?

MoneroV fulfills the long overdue desire for a truly anonymous, decentralized, finite peer-to-peer electronic currency. Individuals and businesses can transact securely, reliably and anonymously with low fees using MoneroV.
The MoneroV community looks forward to welcoming users, enthusiasts, and contributors to further enhance the development of MoneroV.

Any predictions on the price? XMO was listed on hitbtc starting at $6 then went as high as $24 few days after the launch.

Hope XMV would get a good start considering 4 exchanges are supporting the coin unlike the previous forks XMO only had 1 (Hitbtc) while XMC was supported by 2 exchanges,

XMR is trading at ~$240 maybe we could get $24 per XMV with 1:10 airdrop ratio

Dont believe unkown exchanges that claim they have already implemented the coin!
Waait for Hitbtc, Coinex!

I agree wait for others, but hitbtc is managed by a bunch of liars, I can only see problems when having to use them to claim.

edit: FYI they announced it on their blog, but it wouldn't be the first time they announced something and don't follow through.
