There are high chances that Bitcoins will remain dominant in the crypto platform, so far no coin has mounted a serious challenge on BTC at all, and the gap it has on most of the coins keep widening, unless ETH steps up or another coin is developed, with the ability to cut n the gap then BTC will remain dorminant

For now Ethereum still can not compare Bitcoin better and good for everyone. I haven't found a new altcoin against Bitcoin.

Its being 10 years where the btc dominance can be clearly seen and further in coming few years you will be able to see it dominance clearly. Though late in long term will it be the top coin is the question which we need to be thought of as some or other may come and pump up the market.

I can not be sure if bitcoin can still maintain its popularity and become the most dominant coin of currency crypto. But, if I analyze from the market conditions then I believe that bitcoin will remain dominant for the short term, maybe until next year. But I'm not really sure if bitcoin will survive for the long term. As we know, many crypto currencies have technology over bitcoin so this poses a threat to bitcoin. If bitcoin wants to maintain its existence then bitcoin should be able to keep up with technological developments from other crypto currencies.

Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.
Bitcoin has remained the top cryptocurrency in the market, which is visible in the graphs and news about bitcoin's status, However, one thing is certain. Even though it seemed like bitcoin had grown its roots in the number one spot. I'm sure that one of these days, when a better cryptocurrency with much more advanced, innovative yet relevant projects and pictures arise, bitcoin will be replaced in the top one spot.

I share the same opinion with you. Unless a certain coin will pose a significant challenge to Bitcoin, it will remain to hold the dominance it has been holding since cryptocurrency started. Ethereum has always been touted to beat Bitcoin. Well, that is of course a possibility because it is the number one altcoin, ranked just below Bitcoin. But it appears to me that Ethereum is far down lower than Bitcoin's market dominance even if it is the second placer.

so far bitcoin remain dominant for another few years.because of the trust and the popularity gain by bitcoin is too high in past few years although some weaknesses in bitcoin.and people always try to swap their altcoins in to bitcoin after gain some profit.that will show the people's confidence in bitcoin.and also when converting cryptocurrency in to fiat currencies lot of exchanges support only bitcoins.so people are using bitcoin .because of that so far bitcoin is dominant

The current currency is not competitive with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is dominating the market despite going down. Bitcoin is falling but also pulls Altcoin down. So, for now and for a long time, Bitcoin is still the king.

Absolutely mate, bitcoin will forever remain dominant over the cryptocurrencies in the market. First of all the dominance of bitcoin is felt on almost every cryptocurrency that is on the market. Even though most cryptopreneurs like myself don't like the supremacy of bitcoin especially when it is sinking all other coins with we must be honest with ourselves that bitcoin is king of all cryptocurrencies and it rules the market rates. Also the price of bitcoin is more than even the second most expensive coin which is Ethereum more than five times and so if bitcoin ain't dominating which coin will. Let's just hope that anytime it shows its power of dominating it will be reaching for the skies and not what it just happened yesterday. (11/06/2018)

I have found a platform that allows everyone to understand when is the right time to invest in cryptocurrency. It is called Cryptics – the first AI-based trading solution. The combination of AI and neural networks allows the Cryptics platform to encompass a large number of open sources and compile information on exchange rates from social networks and exchanges with 70% accuracy. However, do not take everything for granted - you always should check everything by yourself Smiley https://youtu.be/52RacK8L4GI

I think so, amidst the crisis being experienced by it right now, we can still see that bitcoin remains dominant. Another thing is that bitcoin is not the only one experiencing the fall, all the other coins do too so we can really say that bitcoin will remain dominant since when other coins recovers, bitcoin will also recover for sure too.

You should not doubt the bitcoin because bitcoin will always be the first because bitcoin is the first coin in creation even though today a lot of new altcoins are emerging, we must be optimistic that bitcoin will never end.

For now, BTC dominant is non negotiable due to the fact that apart from being an investment on its own, it is also a form of entry and exit point to the crypto market generally. Hence, the reason for its current dominant. If this continues, things may not change in the future.

if you say Bitcoin always be dominant, then yes. because there is no rival in the role model here, all merchants adopt bitcoin everybody in the world knows bitcoin, anyone who wants to invest or make transactions using bitcoin by doing that some of them may see altcoins for profit because they are pumped well. so bitcoin is very influential in each other altcoin.

Obviously, it will. The price margin between Bitcoin and the next coin is too high. This will go on for so long that cryptocurrency will not be a thing before Bitcoin goes down.
There are too many Bitcoin to go around with that this will go long term.

as soon as the coins will be tradable with btc than I guess it will remain the most dominant coin such as gold which is for fiat currencies and acts as a reserve asset.

Talking about dominance. Bitcoin currently dominates, weighing at 33% of the total crypto market cap. That is huge! But it has been much higher in the past. Will this return? Very unlikely.

Will there be another crypto currency in the future (2019) weighing 33% (or more) of total market cap? Also very unlikely.

As the crypto world matures, so will mature all the use cases that are currently presented to us through the countless ICO’s. Of course a large number will fail, but when we arrive on the other side there will be currencies/token (with underlying blockchain technology) that have figured out how to make money in this space.

I think you can have another coin to sell to a local fiat, but internationally Bitcoin has an advantage. Probably because Bitcoin started it all.

Truly obviously bitcoin will stay in the position regardless of issue and delinquent about it. Bitcoin will be secure and stronger. The financial specialist has a considerable measure of decisions to put, but at last, they will pick the bitcoin due to the favorable circumstances benefits that we can get on it. Nine years bitcoin was at that point turn out to be number one among all coin. No single year we don't get uncertainty or inconvenience on the value.

My answer to your question is yes.Bitcoin will always remain the most dominant coin both short and long term. This is because it is the first ever crypto currency. The current price of Bitcoin is higher than the price of every other coin. No other coin is even close to Bitcoin.Bitcoin is also on number one in the terms of popularity. If we will ask anyone about crypto currency his first answer will be Bitcoin.A person who wants to invest in crypto for the first time will choose Bitcoin as his first priority. So yes Bitcoin is and will remain the most dominant coin forever.

in my opinion bitcoin has become very dominant and a benchmark in all the price of cryptocurrency because I see bitcoin price is very expensive and can give effect in the price of other cryptocurrency.
