now, bitcoin is used as a reference for altcoin, but that does not mean when bitcoin dies, other crypto will also die. cryptocurrency is worldwide, its existence indirectly has helped simplify the way people transact. the first time the bitcoin dies, it will all be stuck, but slowly will be normal again.

I think when bitcoin dies, only bitcoin. I think other crypto still on stand. Maybe if bitcoin is died it will replace by other crypto. But i think bitcoin will not die until it will ban all over the world. Bitcoin has a really strong foundation and can stand in many decades but still everything has an end.
Bitcoin is no doubt the best coin in the entire list of the crypto coins which are there in this world but the point is there is no such crypto coin which is dependent on bitcoin in any way and because of which their future can get in danger at time when bitcoin disappears. This will no doubt effect the overall crypto market in so many ways but still it will not let other crypto coins to get vanished. |

Bitcoin is big name in crypto world. if it dies it impact on all crypto currencies. Eth also can not safe.
If by passing of time Eth increase faith of investor in itself then it can leave behind bitcoin.
We have already seen incidents when bitcoin prices falling down results in all coins getting red. If you see the current scenario, it is happening again. Bitcoin prices have dropped about 105 in last 3 days and all coins are going down. I think by the time bitcoin dies, we will have some new concept developed. |

On no situation will bitcoin die, though there may be an increase and a decrease in the price due to government terms and policy, but it is impossible for the bitcoin to die.
Don't be sure about it. Although the probability for any such thing happening is minuscule, it is theoretically possible for Bitcoin to die out. There can be numerous reasons, such as negative government action, discovery of bugs, competition from altcoins.etc. |

If BTC die, there will be no more cryptocurrencies.
Will I guess cryptocurrencies will stay alive even if Bitcoin dies. But if you say this "Blockchain die all cryptocurrencies will dead too". All cryptocurrencies depends on blockchain. PS: Bitcoin will never die, ever, because Bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies. Just think positive.  |

Many people think that there are many types of crypto. So if bitcoin is dead then there will be another crypto replacing bitcoin but I do not think so. Bitcoin technology is the most modern, and other crypto technologies are based on bitcoin technology. If bitcoin dies, no crypto exists.

Someone says?Who the hell is spreading such news and there are you beleiving on such rumours that btc will die soon.This is not going to happen because it's not a bubble which could burst anytime but a currency which will be much more popular in future. And if crashed then most of the coins will also witness price dips due to dominance of bitcoin over market but they will not completely vanished as they are becoming independent of their own. But stop believing such news. |

No, if bitcoin die other crypto will still alive for sure. Other cryptos don't rely on bitcoin currency, they have different characteristics you can't compare bitcoin to other cryptos. Each crypto's have unique innovated technology.

No government action can make Bitcoin die, unless all the governments in the world solidarize in order to do that, which is highly unlikely. With the great team of developers Bitcoin has, bugs will be fixed quickly in the hypothetical case of finding any. Regarding competition from altcoins, I think if Bitcoin transactions will become fast and cheap again(LN might help), there will be no competition. By that I don't mean all alts will die, but they will be used much less compared to Bitcoin. |

I think if bitcoin dies, then most of the altcoins will die. Bitcoin has a huge impact on other cryptocurrencies. If bitcoin dies, the cryptocurrency market will collapse and only a handful of cryptocurrencies can survive. |

if bitcoin really dies there's something else will arise from it's ashes and create a new cryptocurrency
If bitcoin dies my opinion is no currency will replace it but something will be there for replace bitcoin and not only ethereum many other currency available for replacing it in a good way so crypto currencies has a good coins with that. |

Same like some posting, i dont think btc will die. But if it does die, it will surely affect the crypto world and other coins. Like it or not, btc is like mother of all coins so huge movement in btc, be prepared others will face some impact too.

If bitcoin die, i don't think other cryptos will die also because we are not sure whether other coins were dependent on bitcoin. Different coins had each characteristics which differentiate them from bitcoin. There is large possibility that they will still exist even when the bitcoin die.

Well I don't think bitcoin will die for the foreseeable future. But even if anything bad happens, price of ethereum and co may surely crash too initially but does not necessarily equate to their death.

For now on seems like that if seen from the price and most usage by people, Ethereum is preferred by new ICO rather than bitcoin then if bitcoin die then Etherium will replace it. |

I'm sure you're drawing this conclusion based on bitcoin price analysis. So if the bitcoin price has decreased significantly, then almost all altcoin experiencing the same thing. so if viewed from the price difference, altcoins that have prices below bitcoin will be zero when bitcoin has reached a certain low. But that can not be guaranteed because the price movement of cryptocurrency depends on the supply and demand factor, and if bitcoin falls, the investors immediately transfer their assets to another cryptocurrency such as BCH, ETH, XRP etc., so that it can push back the price.
