Bitcoin can now be called a digital dollar. As a dollar in the real world, bitcoin is the main reserve currency of the digital market.
Moreover, bitcoin, in contrast to the dollar, is truly decentralized, which allows investors not to fear the actions of any governments.

I think it's not far if i say that dollar and bitcoin are actually the leaders of their platforms. What's also crazy is how this forum served as the source of consumers and a big factor in increasing the acceptability of bitcoin by people. Really the  design and everything about this  community is genius.
It is not a digital dollar. It is a ddigital currency and it is a future asset.

I think BTC is digital gold!

Gold and BTC need to be mined! And the quantity is certain!

The dollar can sell any additional! Gold and BTC can be exchanged for legal tender at any time and anywhere without a bank!

Well that is the dream of Satoshi to create a digital form of currency that has no borders. It is similar to the US dollar in that bitcoin is used as the benchmark for all crypto currencies in same way that US dollars are used for global trade.

I think it's a little bit incorrect to compare bitcoin and dollar ... They are in very different weight categories Grin

Bitcoin and altcoins hard to compare to fiat money. The main differences between crypto and fiat are high volatility and lack of recognition among world's financial institutions

think we can not compare dollar and bitcoin as for now. But Yes, Dollar is one of the leading currency in its platform and in cryptocurrency Bitcoin is top 1 and the leading. Someday I hope that this Satoshi's vision will come true as I envision it too, the cashless and fast transaction without the supervision of the government or banks. You can refer bitcoin to as digital gold and definitely not digital dollars.

Indeed, bitcoin is the digital dollar because it is used already for payments and any other transaction. I prefer this digital dollar because of its high value other than existing dollar currency today.

At different times, feathers were money. The shells were money. Dollars and the euro is money. Gold and silver are money. Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies can also be money.

I think not like dollar, but like digital gold and Ethereum just like digital silver. Because it can be mined just like gold and the price can go up or down just like gold.

Yes, I also think that bitcoin is the digital gold. Over the past months, the awareness of cryptocurrency has increased drastically and a many people began to  understand the basics of decentralized financial networks and cryptocurrencies. I support the optimism. I believe that bitcoin will also be valuable as gold.

bitcoin is a cryptocurrency or a digital currency but it can be considered as a digital dollar because bitcoin can also do what dollar can do but dollar cant possibly do what bitcoin can do because a bitcoin can also become an asset that can be used as investment or for trading while dollar on the other hand is only a plain currency  but when it comes to credibility and ease , i think  dollars is still the clear winner.

it is obviously very different, the dollar is still the dollar and bitcoin is still bitcoin, the first digital currency appears, but bitcoin price refers to the dollar price, it's the similarity between dollar and bitcoin, but different in physical and value. because the value of the dollar currency is accepted in various countries and bitcoin has entered into several major countries then the price refers to the dollar.

We cannot compare it to dollar, it is quite different system because the value of bitcoin is so high unlike dollar. Comparing to dollar bitcoin are more than the dollar in term of benefits.

Actually the bitcoins is a digital currency which can used by anybody to buy goods or services because it has a monetary value just like dollar.
Bitcoin is a wonderful blessing for all of us that we should be grateful of and proud of,  because of this we can have a better life.
