I guess you quite confused with the idea of blockchain and bitcoin. Think of blockchain as an Operating system like Microsoft Windows and think of bitcoin as an application running on this OS, think of bitcoin as Microsoft office. You see. Remove the MS Office in the OS, you still have an OS that can run other applications such as Internet browsing software. That's how simply to put it. This idea was explained to me by a computer engineer.

for now maybe blockchain technology can be succesfull without btcoin, because some countries already use the system from blockchain for various things. digital payment system etc. but if a few years ago, without bitcoin blockchain can't be succesfull.

The blockchain is becoming very important for its potential to create a decentralized and absolutely unalterable accounting register that can ensure the regularity of transactions, procedures and contracts. Its survival is not linked to the btc. Even if a government banned the btc no government will ever ban the blockchain.

However I think that the market would recover pretty fast because people seem to understand why they need cryptocurrencies. We don't want to become dependent from banks. This is for sure very possible. However, I would say it is as a result of Bitcoin's success that Blockchain got more attention with regards to crypto. Now a lot of people have realized that different projects can be conceived using blockchain technology and it doesn't have to be cryptocurrency related. Yes that is possible, but i think that if bitcoin will not survive it will have a huge impact on all other crypto currencies and on blockchain, because bitcoin has too much contribution in making blockchain popular and if bitcoin will not survive it will really effect the image of blockchain too much.
