Even without bitcoin blockchain can still survive.There are so many coins in the market with a high potential.It just happened bitcoin is too popular and some coins are not.Other cryptocurrencies can rise on the top soon.If they cannot create more market for these coins then the block chain will be a hollow block empty and void.

After the decline in bitcoin by the end of 2017 until now, the blockchain is increasingly being noticed by various parties, especially banks (which prohibit bitcoin) it seems that blockchain will be able to survive without bitcoin. Although so far the blockchain has become increasingly notorious for the rising popularity of bitcoin. But we do not know what will happen in the future.

Yes we don't really know if blockchain will survive without bitcoin, many say it will survive because their are also more crypto that will takeover like ethereum network and I think they are right, but bitcoin can't be dead for sure.

Of course blockchain can survive without Bitcoin. There are other coins with which transactions can be done. Bitcoin is more popular and flexible, but if scrapped other coins can take over.

The idea that blockchain cannot survive without bitcoin is literally not true and doesn't have any logical basis. Blockchain system is made for faster peer to peer transaction and has a lot of benefits which can help certain companies when used, and the first one to apply blockchain technology is bitcoin. Using it made it a lot easier for users to tracked all their transactions, and in addition that its nature was decentralized, made it a lot more simple to use.
