Had it not been for cryptocurrencies, we may have never seen the ongoing blockchain involvement throughout the institutions, as it was what sparked everyone’s interest, and also as it created the wealth enabling the ongoing innovations in the industry since its beginning, even before traditional investors came in.

The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?
Yes, of course. It can. Bitcoin is not the only implementation of the blockchain technology. It is just the application that got famous. Other than cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology can solve many cases. It provides a variety of opportunities for many applications. |

Blockchain can process all kinds of digital coins or cryptocurrencies, so it will survive with or without the existence of Bitcoin. But of course, the first application of blockchain is intended before for bitcoin only. So Blockchain existed because of bitcoin. |

The block chain may not be known much without bitcoin but since there is altcoin it may, depending on how this coin is promoted or used, in other ways as bitcoin survival depends on the continued progress of the blockchain and the reason is simple. Although many comments and the state has opposed bitcoin, which has been set or completely banned.

Yes though bitcoin really plays a big role for Blockchain, blockchain will remain standing and succeeding. Bitcoin is just one of the parts of blockchain and for sure blockchain technology has a very wide range of transactions that can always discover for a better coin. |

Yes, of course it will because it works; it improves products/services and for the better. It was Bitcoin that was the first use of blockchain technology, it's based upon it, but it certainly won't be the last. We have to remember that these are early days for blockchain and I think some people have compared it to first inventions such as the telephone.

It can survive even with out bitcoin but I don't think bitcoin will totally disappear. Now, bitcoin dominates all cryptocurrencies but time will come that other kinds will rise up and dominates the others. All going to survive even with out the others if ever.

Of course that it can not, and i am more than sure in that all the altcoins that are on the market are goign to suffer a lot of bitcoin dissappears, because the King would be gone.

Yes. But not yet.
Until now, we have to buy bitcoin for their purchasing some block chains.
I think we can buy it without bitcoin in the future, but it will not be easy.

For me its depends on situation on how they can stand without foundation of bitcoin,because i`ve seems that every token/altcoins was depending only in the price of bitcoin.

It could be, but if the bitcoin is gone it will probably lower the person using the blockchain. It has many usage like in a simple transactions that until today it is still exists because of adoptions.

Yeah, blockchain can survive without bitcoin. But bitcoin can not survive without blockchain. Blockchain is like the heart of a human who gives life and forms a circulatory chain to circulate the juice of food. Bitcoin without blockchain is nothing. Proof blockchain can survive without bitcoin is, blockchain can be used in any crypto currency platform. Blockchain can be applied in ethereum, ripple, and other crypto currencies. Blockchain also can be applied to many projects in helping real life. It’s a bit of my opinion.

Yes, it will. The invention of blockchain technology is actually implemented for the use of the entire cryptocurrency. It so happened that bitcoin was the first digital currency where blockchain was tested. In case that bitcoin disappear, there are lots of popular and with potential coins still existed. And as far as I know, as long as there is an internet and right implementation, this technology are still efficient in so many cases.
