Well if you're referring to only Bitcoin and not other cryptocurrencies then I'll say partially yes. Partially because every ICO has its own coin and most are run on the Ethereum network. The other part being that Bitcoin controls the crypto market and so we can never do away with BTC.

What a surprising question !!!!. Why block chain not survive without BTC. For BTC, block chain technology needed but for Block chain, btc is not needed. Block chain technology is unique. Beside btc, block chain technology is using in many sectors in modern world still where need not btc yet.

It could be, but if the bitcoin is gone it will probably lower the person using the blockchain. It has many usage like in a simple transactions that until today it is still exists because of adoptions.
For me,its a Yes.Blockchain is a digitized, decentralized, and a public ledger of all cryptocurrencies,so meaning even without bitcoin it will survive because people can choose any of the other cryptocurrencies. But for now it is not happening.

Yes obviously there is no doubt it, Blockchain can easily survive without Bitcoin. It is true that bitcoin is first cryptocurrency which is based on blockchain but now there are also other coins which are also using blockchain.

I believe that blockchain can still survive even without bitcoin because blockchain is a technology itself and the one that produced bitcoin. Anyway if there is no bitcoin then definitely it will still produce hundreds or thousands of other coins.

I think it can. There were a lot of coins who are dying and look at the blockchain, it is still breathing just fine. So it is a yes. I believe that it can survive without bitcoin.

Should have plenty of time to do so because all have a process to do something better later on.

I think so. Right now, there are already large shifts to blockchain technology. A lot of traditional systems are starting to integrate blockchain to their technologies. Even the government of Venezuela and some few more I believe are using blockchain already. But their shift or adoption of the blockchain technology is made or done apart from Bitcoin. And so I guess there is a big possibility that blockchain will survive independently without Bitcoin.

Yes, in my opinion, it will, because blockchain technology can be utilized by other systems. A lot of traditional systems are starting to integrate blockchain into their technologies. And so I guess there is a big possibility that blockchain will survive independently without Bitcoin, but we must also remember that even if blockchain survive it will still need Bitcoin in some aspect and besides Bitcoin is the origin and king of cryptocurency, it will have a great impact in the cryptoworld if Bitcoin will perish.

Blockchain will survive without bitcoin in any industry. Technically, I say yes, because there are many implementations of blockchains that do not use bitcoin. But it really depends on what you define as success and who you ask.

i think That is a fact that Blockchain can survive without bitcoin, although it Is not so easy that bitcoin will die so soon, but I think that if bitcoin will die it will really effect blockchain popularity, because bitcoin and blockchain have a very close relation with each other.

Technically, yes, there are many implementations of blockchains that do not use bitcoin, there are many industries like banking, insurance, supply chain, etc, where blockchain can be implemented. blockchain technology was first invented and implemented for Bitcoin. After the successful implementation, blockchain was considered as a revolutionary technology which can bring transparency in the system.

Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.
The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?
There are coutless other blockchains without Bitcoin nowadays. Sure ir can and will survive. It is in fact more of an innovation than Bitcoin itself

so in short , blockchain can trully survive without bitcoin but i dont think that bitcoin can survive without blockchain because bitcoin will not possibly worked. however if devs and inventors can port bitcoin into a physical form and make it totally usueable offline , for sure it can fully survive without the help of blockchain technology. i dont also think that blockchain can become more popular in the future without the help of bitcoin and other digital currencies.
