Technically, a blockchain can exist without a cryptocurrency. But for public blockchains, cryptocurrency becomes a requirement because that’s the incentive for people to put their computers to work.

Bitcoin is the pioneer of block chain technology. I personally think that if bitcoin suddenly falls, other cryptocurrencies will be affected. But block chain technology is proven useful and efficient so I also think that block chain technology will be our future. That futuristic society can and will use blockchain to improve their economy.

What kind of question if this? of course not, why would we need a blockchain if we have no bitcoin? it makes no sense. The same scenario would apply if there is no blockchain, but there is bitcoin, they wont exist if it ever happens on here

Blockchain Technology works on collection of data termed to be blocks and hash them using Algorithm, so does it works on Bitcoin as well. Bitcoin has only been the first coin that uses this Technology , which means Generation of Bitcoin was started by Blockchain,while Blockchain itself was initiated at start for Bitcoin. This however simplifies it that Blockchain can readily exists without Bitcoin, since so many other Alt Coins and projects can work fine on Blockchain Technology.

I really like this, Bitcoin is the first crypto coin that introduced the concept and Technology of Blockchain, and then came the other crypto coins, such as Ethereum, Ripple, Dogecoin and more, this proves that Blockchain can still be in use and survive without Bitcoin.

Yes of course blockchain will surely survive without bitcoin as the later one can be replaced by any other altcoins that can be used as monetary for blockhain with so many altcoins which claim  it has much better and fsst transaction than bitcoin this can be alternatively used incase bitcoin would not available.

Blockchain is a major and new technology upon which several things can run. Bitcoin is just one of the several applications on blockchain and so the collapse of Btc doesn't mean the end for blockchain. It will definitely survive

Could be because there are still a lot of companies out there who want to use blockchain to store all their data and possibly anything but I'm sure blockchain can survive without bitcoin and I think if blockchain without bitcoin might bank use blockchain to store all their transact evidence

I think you need to read some articles about  Blockchain technology and Bitcoins. Blockchain is not related to Bitcoin. Note that Bitcoin blockchain was the FIRST blockchain, there are many more blockchains, another very famous blockchain is the ETH blockchian. Satoshi Nakamoto invented the Bitcoin blockchain to be used as the public transaction ledger for that cryptocurrency. One could use different cryptocurrencies for other blockchains, and that is what people are currently doing.

i think positive! Blockchaon will survive without bitcoin. There are so many coin out there. They are independent to each other and they move by themselves through the investor's money. If there will be no bitcoin. They will be fine.

I think blockchain technology can survive even with out bitcoin because there are so many other coins in crypto market. Blockchain is a decentralized public ledger of all cryptocurrency transactions originally developed as the accounting method for virtual currency and not only bitcoin is present in this blockchain but all other digital currency.

I agree, Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies, and if it will be gone, blockchain won't survive. There's a high probability that it is dependent in Bitcoin; same with other cryptocurrencies.

Definitely Yes Block chain can survive without Bitcoin, Block chain is just an open ledger that account for the transactions that has taken place. It doesn't in anyway fully depend on BTC, Bitcoin only introduced to the world, There are lots of blockchain applications that are being developed out here currently, the medical field is adopting Block chain for its records, The banking sector for its transactions among others.These two arent attached at all, and dont be surprised if Block chain becomes a success more than BTC

IMHO, yes. Blockchain will become a pillar of innovation and future. Blockchain is a revolution and it will stay whatever happens even when BTC is gone. There might be some changes and improvements as it is a part pf the process. Let’s believe in the power of technology.

Generally yes because there is a lots of coins can play the roll of bitcoin...but this is what will not happen because people know and use bitcoin more than all crypto coin...if people stop believing in bitcoin and bitcoin die that mean that all altcoins will die one by one only if ethereum or another major coin will be popular as bitcoin maybe the death of bitcoin will not be the end of the crypto world
