Amalgamation of different sources including BCT, Youtube, Medium, and Discord. The best out of those is BCT but that is because every coin is discussed here whereas those other mediums you are generally looking into specific coins.

There are a ton of ways to keep up with latest crypto news, trends, or information in general. Forums like this one or Reddit can be really useful, as well as bigger sites like Coindesk or Bitcoin.org. Also, feel free to check out some of our blog posts like this one: http://bit.ly/BTCvsBCH
Keep asking questions and doing research, because the more you know, the better off you are!

Good luck  Smiley

Yes, I agree that social media could be one of the fastest way to share info. But sometimes there are informations that goes out differently as a fake news. Even google had its share of spreading erroneous information due to posting wrong idea. I think for me combining both sources could be a better idea.

Here in forum there is no accurate information specially when based on personal experiences and opinions. If you want reliable sources of information, try to seek from the internet but always look for the certificates, licenses and most specially the credibility of the author. I recommend the google scholar as it has trusted authors and great articles about almost on everything.

Twitter and reddit is the most reliable sources in my opinion. But, always think twice before believing in a certain information you've encountered. Television is not that reliable in my case because our country does not recognize the crypto market itself. If you also have many friends, you can rely your information on them because you might not know that they are more aware than you. Lastly, try streaming in youtube because as the suggested videos pops out you will be unconsciously watching them and your knowledge for bitcoin will greatly increase.

I know some news sites that can be a reliable source of information about cryptocurrency specially on bitcoin, it's ccn.com and news.bitcoin.com, i always used this sites to get some information and news about crypto. But i think the most reliable source that you might use is no other than but this forum, because all information that you want to learn are already here, just take your time of searching and reading some articles and threads that are all about on cryptocurrency.

I use google news. I just read there from time to time and cross reference what I read in threads available here on bitcointalk to verify if whatever I have read online is true. After that, I continue to read in the forums and watch out for the latest news on bitcoins. A lot of alt coin news also come from the forum.

Forums like this are one of the best sources of cryptocurrency information. Google and telegram groups are also advisable sources. All of the informations you got on forums like this comes from different persons who knows bitcoin well. Off topics and scammers are most likely banned here.

What kind of information are you looking for? you must state OP so you'll be answer regarding to your question.  Sometimes you must be clarified to what are you looking for because if you will just give as a guessing game then we will not be sure if our answer is fitted to your inquiries. if i can just give you a dislike to this post. even thou you state bitcointalk is one of the best source, not unless. because there are many informations here but not information are tied up into an specific question.
