Bitcoin is basically another way or means to earn money. We are all here in Bitcoin because we want and need a source of income or something to invest to so that in time we will be able to enjoy the returns of our time and efforts. Here in Bitcoin, it has different ways of earning, you can join and participate on campaigns and earn coins once the task is done, you can also be a trader and also investor in Bitcoin where in you can do trading, shrot term and long term investments where in you can gain great returns.

Investing in Bitcoin without having enough knowledge about the market and about the technology is like doing an experiment in a laboratory without knowing the reactants and the products. Bitcoin is the name of a luxury and everyone wants to have it and earn in it but the number of those who earn is much smaller than those who invest. The sole reason for this is perfect information.

You cant avoid this one since its being always part of reality of people on being greedy when it comes to money on where they don't really already go to the full essence on creating a good project but rather focusing on how to generate profits into its investors.

You buy into btc or other coins and in no way are you really supporting the project, besides maybe adding to the order books at the exchanges with some minor effect until whales decided to take over. I sometimes have some sort of dishonest feeling, like the money I make through buying (and seldom) selling is somehow dirty as it comes from people that simply do less research, bail out or simply already had their take.

I started with high feelings of morality, being part of some new future where block chain would be the next internet. Right now it feels like a rat race where you have to grab as much money as possible before others take it before you or from you.

Exactly what I thought until now.  I've heard about bitcoin years ago and think it's just another internet fraud or scam.  Lately, a friend show me his earning from trading coins and doing bounty.  So here I am, trying to learn and maybe investing later.  For now, it's still about money to me.

Agreed, Bitcoin is a long investment, but it is worth the wait, bitcoin is not only a way of earning money, it is true that bitcoin can give you a lot of profits, in equal to your hard work or maybe more, providing such an effort in doing tasks, project that everything inside this forum, is very essential for yourself, learning new knowledge for the sake of your profit is as easy as washing your dishes in your sink.

Yes but there are some people that used it as a currency though we know all that we are here because we want to earn. As of now, I just consider cryptocurrency as my income because I cannot buy or use my bitcoin when I want to buy something in the public market. Well sorry to disappoint you but, it's true that many people only consider bitcoin as the way to make money. That's why they care about bitcoin value, price, crash and fall and such. Including me, i'm not gonna be a hypocrite.
Sadly, but what attract me to bitcoin is because of the potential as an investment, way to gain profits, not because of the great technology behind it, blockchain and such.
But i'm pretty sure there are still many people that want to know about blockchain and such, not only you. I hope i can get to know and interested in that kind of thing too though. Maybe later in the future.

I do understand how you feel. You are a very honest person who doesn't want to take advantage of others. As this is happening, it is sad that you might think you are just like stealing the other persons money who didn't have much knowledge about how things really work. Indeed, some peoples just want to make profits from their investment and its normal in every bussiness. They just want to make profits from rising or falling price. But cryptocurrency market is real investment market and i am believe this market will stay longer and not just another way to make money because cryptocurrency is the future of currency

My start with crypto/btc was that I invested a bit end of November last year. I had a few friends that told me about their small successes and how easy it was to just 'start'. It was indeed quite easy. I started to read and research into btc and every other relevant coin. Whitepapers, teams and such. Then I started to shift focus to the block chain, starting to get a grasp on what could be the future possibilities. I started to get real exited and invested some of my savings in a few projects with (to me) real potential. None of those projects appeared to be alive because of speculation only, mainly because they have a vision and actual plans.

So then I noticed that there are quite a few documentaries. I started to watch them all. A few from 2015, 2016 and 2017. I was disappointed to say the least. Everything was about bitcoin and the value/worth of bitcoin. It was about highs and lows, crashes and deceit. Only a few times the actual potential of the block chain was mentioned. Mostly it was about money.

Actually everyone have their own decision on either they will take Bitcoin seriously or not because it really depends on how to deal with a business. But based on my experience you will really earn from Bitcoin a little by little. Earning extra income to a legal business is not bad even how small value we will get the important is that we did our best and we know how to wait and learn to be patient.
